Amilia pov:
Fuck!
I'm stuck doing this shitty meeting because Whitlock has a 'more important' thing going on in her office. I truly hate listening to these old men talk, especially when they think I don't know what they're saying.
Keeping my anger in check I just take notes into my computer to keep me from strangling them. Thankfully it was over within an hour. Leaving, I pack my things and take the elevator up.
I'm gonna give her a piece of my mind!
Busting through her door without so much as knocking I caught sight of other people in here. Well it was one person but still.
"How was the meeting?" She gave that same cocky smile.
"Annoying. You should really start doing them yourself." Going to her desk I drop a stack of papers off, my eyes cold towards her.
"Why? I can have you do it." She pulled her lip between her teeth, biting her plump lips.
"I'm not doing it again." I kept myself firm.
"You're my assistant and I pay you." She narrowed her eyes. She was fucking with me, that's all she does.
"Fuck off." I didn't mean for it to slip but it did. Her eyes widened before a laugh from the man to my left echoed in the room.
"You let her talk to you like that?" He snorted, trying to calm himself from laughing.
"Not usually." She looked irritated at him.
"Seems like it." He rolled his eyes, making her huff.
"Amilia, this is my younger brother, Damien." She motioned to the man.
He was tall, but a little shorter than her, he had Short Slicked back black hair and blue eyes. He looked to be in pretty good shape with a noticeable scar on his right cheek. He gave me a friendly smile and held his hand out to me.
"Nice to meet someone who's not afraid to talk back to her." He chuckled, his much larger hand encasing mine.
"Really? People find her scary?" I scoffed, shaking his hand. He laughed a little but nodded.
"She can be at times." He side eyed her with a smile. The room felt heavy and awkward.
"You single?"
"Damien!"
"What?"
She looked pissed at him but it only made me snicker. She pulled his ear slightly making him wince and wish for her to let it go..
"You're not gonna date my assistant." She grunted, letting his ear go.
"She's a grown woman, she can make her decisions." He rubbed his pained ear.
"No." She looked more serious, more now than I've seen her in the past month.
"I am." I gave a smirk at her, turning my attention to the man he smiled back.
"Cool, why don't I take you out?" He gave his most charming smile.
"No…"
"I'd love that." Ignoring her I pulled a card from my folder and handed it over. Taking my leave I went to my office.
