Y/n's pov

Ugh. Ortho left and I promised him I would talk to somebody. I always keep a promise, stupid me.

Even back home I didn't have a psy. Mom and dad wouldn't acknowledge mental problems nor neurodivergence so they never tried to help me; I'm pretty sure even if they knew they wouldn't care since it was about me anyway.

I ain't gonna speak to any student, that's for sure. Lilia or Mal...but no! I don't want to...

Crowley, he's kinda...Crowley so.... Then we have the professors. Garvas would probably talk about muscles or something so that's a no. Thinking about, maybe Sam but he's working. Crewel has always been nice to me and professor Trein has experience since he has two sons.

I was still walking aimlessly, searching for a solution. Ah! This still seems so embarrassing! I'm used to solve my own problems without asking for help.

I leaned on what I thought was a wall, I wasn't really aware of my surroundings. Yup, it was a door and as it opened, I almost fell backward but the person who opened it kept me from doing so.

3rd person's pov

Y/n was still in shock as the other person still had their hands up their back to keep them from falling.

"What are you still doing here, pup?"

Recognizing the owner of the voice, she flushed and went back on her feet "S-Sorry, sir!"

"It is you so it was nothing. But still, for you to still be here after classes, is there a problem?"

"Yes- Ah! No! I meant no, I'm fine, everything is fine!"

Crewel placed a hand on his hip before staring straight in their eyes. They looked away before sighing "Okay, I do have a problem but it only concerns me and I don't want to bother anybody with it."

Crewel motioned for her to get inside the classroom "I am never bothered by you, pup."

They blushed at his words and followed his lead.

In the classroom, she took a deep breath before starting "Okay, so this is actually embarrassing for me but I need an advice."

Crewel frowned "None of the boys here are worthy of you."

She let out a shocked noise before stuttering "N-N-No! I-it's not like that!" With a red face.

Crewel smirked "Then what is it, puppy?"

'Is he doing this on purpose? Well, I did feel more relaxed earlier because of him'

They passed a hand through their hair "Well, you know about the test results."

"I still don't know how those stray dogs got such good grades."

"I do.... Azul Ashengrotto helped them." She was playing with a strand of hair. "He didn't cheat outright, but he's still manipulating people and that's bad so I should do something." She started pulling her hair a little. "But...I don't know, I don't think the others deserve to just be left off the hook like that." She clenched her fists.

'She's shaking.' "Pup, come here."

They approached him at his desk as he sat them down and wrapped his coat around them. "Now, could you tell me where the problem really comes from?"

They stayed silent for a moment "...I was born on a fortunate family, everybody always thought everything was granted to me because of my family's name. But I had to earn respect and other skills so I always worked day and night to accomplish my goals and even then, people wouldn't acknowledge my efforts. I hate cheaters and liars, they just come out of nowhere and ruin all the hard works other people put on. Right now, I need to take down Azul. But I also think the students were wrong. And the fact that the closest to me lied in my face, that just doesn't sit right to me. I'm complicated, sorry to bother you..."

She was about to get up but Crewel held her back, placing a hand on her head and getting close to her face, making her cheeks flush.

"Your position is understandable and those cheaters do deserve a punishment. Despite that, you still won 1st place so how about this? You let them suffer a little then you save the day. After all, we all know that if you get into it, this will all be solved fairly soon."

He caressed their head, making them giggle.

"Yes, you're right master."

He then got out a handkerchief and wiped away her tears.

'I didn't even notice I was crying' "...Thank you very much for your time."

"No problem, puppy." He kissed their forehead. 

Y/n.exe stopped working.

"If you ever need anything else, come see me whenever you want. I'd gladly make as much time necessary for you, Y/n."

Riddle who? I only know red-faced Y/n.

"By the way, puppy."

"Y-Yes?"

"You call the headmage Crowley, don't you?"

"Y-Yeah, I guess it kinda just came naturally."

Crewel smiled "Then you may call me Divus."

"R-Really?!"

"Only in private though." He placed a finger on their lips. "Wouldn't want to attract the attention now, would we?"

'How am I still functioning?!' "No, no... Divus."

Hearing his name slipping out of her lips made him smile.

Her face was still tainted red but she felt way better. They know the course of their future actions now.

In the meantime, at octavinelle.

"Ah~ Angelfish was so cute when she got mad~"

"Effectively. I'd like to see all kind of other expressions from them~"

The tweels were grinning, showing their sharp teeth.

Azul shuddered at their new obsession"Could you maybe talk about those things when I'm not here?"

They were all in the VIP room and Floyd laughed at Azul's request.

"Oh but this concerns you too." Jade just said.

"And how exactly?" Azul raised an eyebrow.

"It is simple, really. Those anemone students are here for a reason, we all know. And knowing you, you must also know that at some point, their friend will want them free which means this is all part of a bigger project you have in mind."

Azul smirked "Of course, after all she holds possession of a dorm that could serve as a new branch for the Mostro lounge, giving us even more profits."

"That's why we want in." Floyd said.

Azul didn't understand.

"We want a profit too~" He licked his lips.

Jade smirked "Yes indeed. So we have a suggestion..."
