My eyes shoot open. I rub my head, feeling groggy "Ugh..." I've been sweating. That's what happens when I sleep with the kids. Savannah is indeed sleeping on my right and Xavi is on my left. Savannah prefers skin to skin contact so I sleep shirtless but at least, that means no drenched top.
I sit up, feeling 3 small things slide down my chest. I look down to see Happy, Fannie and Flavie. The kids helped me name them. I had recreated those little fairies artificially and tried to copy the Draconia powers within them. Well, My Mals could definitely tame them but they're still more powerful than any other fairies. They had way different appearances back then. The correct term for them is... mixed triplets.

Flavie was already looking up at me with her signature smirk "Greetings, beloved master of mine. Did you have a good night sleep?"
"A good one indeed. How about you?" I open my palm.
She flies up to my hand and elegantly sits in my palm, crossing her legs "Good is an understatement whenever I have the honor of being close to you, my master."
"Aren't you sweet?"
She put a hand in front of her mouth and chuckled lightly.
Fannie stirred and rubbed her eyes "... Good morning, mistress... sister."
"Sister." Flavie nodded, acknowledging her.
"Good morning..." I glance at the clock "My. Is it already noon? How come none of us had woken up yet?"
"Well, you stayed up late reading with lady Lyra last night..." Fannie explained.
"I don't remember that." I bat my eyes innocently, earning a pout from Fannie.
"Savannah, Xavi and Happy will sleep as long as you sleep though." Flavie added.
'Something's still weird somehow...' "Anyways." I pick up happy between 2 fingers.
