Loss of trust

The unsettling feeling,
The questions wracking your brain,
To ask or not to ask,
Are they lying, or are they really where they say they are,
Your fingers start to get cold.
Your heart, however, has its own ideas,
Pumping so fast even when you try to slow it down.
Who can you trust other than yourself?
The feeling of the trust you lost for someone coming back to haunt you with every relationship.
When will it stop,
For I have had enough of it.
