"Mizuki! There you are!" Ena walked up to them from the corner, but something was off.

Ena's features were slightly distorted, like she was an AI rendering of herself rather than the real person.

And... Mx. Akiyama might be misunderstanding, but didn't her voice sound kinda like..... staticky?!

The strange happenings put a sharp pit in Mizuki's stomach that made them feel sick and dizzy.

Sweat beaded on their forehead, dripping down to their neck in fat, shiny rivulets.

"Mizuki! What's wrong with you? Why do you always have to mess everything up? You could have saved me, but you ruined everything.

Nobody cares about you anymore, not even me. I'm leaving you.

DON'T EVER TALK TO ME EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Mizuki was stabbed by Ena with the same sword that almost killed her.

Blood.

Blood spilled out of their mouth as Ena dug the blade into one of their lungs and twisted the serrated edge through their delicate tissue.

More blood.

She stabbed them over and over and over and over and over again until Mizuki was nothing

but pain

and despair

and wounds

and blood.

So much blood.
