Chapter 15: Who's Bird?

Kiara passed a package through the hole as John B grabbed it.

"That's not gold," Pope said.

"Holy shit," John B said, "This is from my dad."

Evelyn helped Kiara the rest of the way out of the hole.

"Thanks," Kiara said.

"Thanks for not making me go in there," Evelyn said.

"Well I know your fear of small spaces so," Kiara said.

"Code red. Code red," JJ said, "Square groupers! Square groupers!"

"Go," Kiara said.

"It's the guys who robbed your house," JJ said as the hid behind the grave.

"Lights, guys," Kiara said turning off her flashlight.

"Turn your light off," Evelyn said pressing the button on JJ's headlamp.

"Do you think it's them?" Kiara asked.

"Homie's got a gun," JJ said.

"Screw this," Kiara said turning on her flashlight and running as the rest of the group followed.

Evelyn reached the fence pulling herself up and over the side.

"Hurry up!" she yelled.

"Guys!" Pope yelled, "Guys I'm stuck."

"All right, guys," John B said.

"I got you," Kiara said moving toward Pope.

"Pope don't move," JJ said holding up the gun.

"Absolutely not," Evelyn said pushing the gun down and away from Pope, "Are you crazy!"

"Wait hold on you're gonna rip me," Pope said as Kiara was trying to get him unstuck.

"You're fine. Come on," Kiara said.

Kiara pulled Pope off of the fence ripping his short completely off.

"Nice! Come on, dude," JJ said.

"It's a little Tootsie Roll," John B joked.

"Come on!" Kiara said laughing as she slid the van door open.

"Get in!" JJ said.

"Stupid," Evelyn said.

"That bread had mold on it three days ago," Pope said.

The group had gone back to the chateau to see what was inside the package they found inside of the grave.

"I'll just pull off the bad parts," JJ said.

"JJ, that is disgusting," Evelyn said.

"Plus mold is good for you. It's just a natural organism," JJ said.

"JJ," Kiara said.

"Yup, yup, yup. Hot damn, lets do it," JJ said walking into the living room.

John B ripped open the package and JJ gaged spitting out the bit of his sandwich.

"I told you so," Evelyn whispered to him receiving a dirty look.

John B took out a big piece of paper unfolding it and laying it on the table, "Holy shit."

"X marks the spot," Pope said pointing to the x on the map.

"Longitude, Latitude," John B said pointing to lines on the map, "Wait a second, there's somethin' else in there."
