AN- I messed up and skipped this chapter so I'm publishing it now!!! Sorry! I'll repost the next chapter after. Sorry if any of you were confused

"In peace may you leave the shore. In love may you find the next. Safe passage on your travels until our final journey on the ground. May we meet again." Jaha ends the broadcast.

"They've lost 38 so far." He tells the room, shaking his head.

"We need to get to them." Abby pleads.

"We can't rush this, Abby." Kane justifies.

"I know. It's hard." She admits.

Kane offers a comforting side hug, letting Abby rest her head on his shoulder.

"We don't know that Bellamy." I insist.

"But it's been quiet for 5 days. That's good." He says.

"It's odd. There are hundreds of thousands of these people, and they have someone named the Commander, who's not just going to let this slide. Surely when we let Tristian go, he went running back to her to make a plan to come back." I reason.

"Just 4 more days, Clarke. Then the Ark comes down with reinforcements and we have nothing to worry about."

"4 days unarmed down here is a death sentence. You should know that." I explain.

"You're right. What can we do, though?"

"We can hunt for more food, try to make more grenades, and keep a sharp eye for now. We don't need more killing. We've done enough."

"I understand. I'll go let our people know." Bellamy says, turning to leave.

"And Bellamy?"

"Yep?"

"Thank you."

He looks surprised, a little bit flattered.

"No problem. Thank you, too. We would be dead without you, Clarke."

I smile back to him, leaving to go deal with Lincoln.

--------------

"Wells?" Jaha asks over the radio.

"Dad? I'm here."

"Have you heard anything since the attack? Any grounders?"

"No. Nothing yet. We're all on edge though. They must be planning something. Their whole culture is based on war."

"I know. I'm nervous for you. We'll be there in 4 days."

"I know, you've said." Wells jokes.

"I miss you, son."

"I miss you too dad. Love you."

"Love you too." Jaha responds, ending the call.

------------------

"Lincoln? Octavia?"

"Yes?" Octavia answers me.

"What are you doing in here?"

"Feeding him. Duh." She rolls her eyes.

Lincoln looks much better than he did a few days ago. Most of his smaller cuts are healed and so are his bruises. Only the major scars remain.

"I came to let him go."

"Good. It's about time."

I pull a key out of my pocket that releases his wrist cuffs. Lincoln pulls his arms down, moving his wrist in circles, finally feeling his muscle again.
