"Hey!" I tell and run towards the cliff edge where they fell off. The other two do the same and try and find him. We couldn't see him anywhere.

I straighten up and step back, looking to the sky and breathe in heavy. I shield my eyes from the sun then lean on my knees. In a way I was quite satisfied with what just happened, I was right, he's gone and the Sully's have him off their backs.

I couldn't help but feel a little disheartened, in some ways I saw my dad in him still but I know he technically wasn't. I go to turn around, a little sad but then I hear Lyle hollering.

"WOOH!"

I turn my head and there before us was Quaritch on his banshee. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't help but smile a little at this, afterall it was quite badass. He throws his hand in the air for victory whils his Ikran hovers at his bidding. Then the other two have a go to find theirs.

........

Once that was over we saw a small gathering of luminous trees from below us. I'm sitting infront of Quaritch on his Ikran. He pat's my shoulder and asks what those trees were.

"Soul trees" I tell him.

Then he decides to land right away by them.

We get down and I stay on the Ikran, he jumps off and approaches the intensely bright trees. They certainly weren't like any other trees in Pandora but they weren't the tree of souls either, it would be devastating if he found that.

I watch him take a walk around the trees. Everything is glowing magenta.

"I've seen these before somewhere" he says.

"They're smaller versions of the tree of souls, they have memories in them but not strong ones" I yell to him.

"Get down here boy" he demands and I do so without question. Lyle and Z-dog walk up too, they feel the pink leaves too and walk around like it's a house viewing.

"You put your hair to it" I spoke, standing next to him.

"Hmm" he humms. He then takes his hair and makes the connection. The others do this too, leaving me alone to just watch.

Z-dog and Lyle connect theirs, they look around the tree as they begin to feel emotions and voices from it. They look like kids who have discovered music. My dad on the other hand looks like he's in a trance of some sort. His eyes are closed and his face is twitching, changing around often.

Two minutes later the other two morons take their hair off. Z-dog looks at Quaritch who still has his eyes shut.

"Damn creepy stuff right?" Lyle says in a dumb voice to him. He doesn't reply. Lyle then gets closer and inspects his facial movements. Quaritch's ears were twitching around a lot, his tail even slapped me.

"H-hey!" I huffed and jumped around. Lyle then got closer to my dad's face.

"Miles?" He asked.

Then my dad snapped out of it. He inhaled deeply and stepped back, his hair disconnecting.

"You alright buddy?" Lyle spoke again. My dad looked at him like he just confessed a murder. Then he looked at me, pretty angrily.

"Hey, what was that" he asks me, he approaches sternly. I back away and begin panicking.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked.

"That was a whole ass new universe right there" he says while pointing aggressively to the tree.

"I wouldn't say that-" Z-dog said.

"What did you two see?" My dad cut her off and faced them.

"Uh, we didn't really see anything, just heard voices and vibrations" Z-dog says.
