Senju's teacher was so nervous. After using her connections, she finally knows where Sano Takemichi lives. She was now looking at the beautiful modern house. She felt a warm and welcoming feeling in the house, which made her calm down a little.

She presses the doorbell and waits. After a few seconds, the door opened. Akane looked at the woman curiously. She doesn't know her at all.

"Hello I'm Akane. Who might you be?" Akane asked.

"My name is Matsuma Mayu; I'm Senju's teacher, but... is Sano Takemichi there?" Mayu asked Akane softly.

Akane feels a nostalgic feeling. Mayu's soft and gentle voice reminds her of her mother! She felt like crying but controlled her emotions.

"I see... Please come in. Let's talk inside." Akane smiled. She knows this woman is not a bad person. 

Both of them come inside the house. Akane leads Mayu to the living room. Mayu sat on the sofa and looked around while Akane readied a tea. 

Akane gave the tea to Mayu and sat as well. 

"So, Miss, can I ask why you are looking for my little brother?" 

Mayu pulled her sketch pad from her bag and showed Zen's sketch to Akane. Akane looked at the sketch, and her heart trembled. Mayu didn't notice Akane's change of expression because she was looking down. 

"That kid right there is my son. I've been trying to find him because I lost him. Now I don't know what to do. It's like his existence just vanished." Tears run down her cheeks. She only mentioned Zen and said that she lost him to avoid suspicion. She can't say she was reincarnated. 

"I'm still hoping I can find him. He is my pride and joy. My happiness so please if you know him tell me I'm begging you." 

Akane gulped. Mayu looked up and saw that Akane was also crying. She was perplexed as to why she was crying. Could it be that she was touched by the story?

"You... who are you really?! This... This." Akane covered her mouth; she couldn't believe it, mother was still alive. 

"Miss Akane, are you okay? What's wrong? Did you recognize who's on the sketch?" Mayu asked worriedly. 

"M-Mom. It's you." Akane can't hold on anymore and hugs Mayu. She was shocked at Akane's actions, then realized that Akane called her "mom."

"R-Rika?!" Mayu connects the dots. Her daughter! She's alive. She cried even more. All of her hard work and patience are not in vain! 

"There's hope! There's finally hope!" Akane said happily while wiping her tears. 

"Rika, what do you mean, "There's hope? " Mayu asked curiously. 

"Mom, you need to save Zen! You can save him from darkness!" 

"Darkness? What happened to our baby boy?" Mayu asked curiously. Both of them and Akane always spoiled Takemichi in their past lives, which is why he is the baby of the family. 

Akane told everyone what happened to Zen. She told how Takemichi's father died. How his friend died in front of him, and the suffering and burdens he carried all this time

Hearing this. Mayu's heart aches even more. Her son, her precious little boy, suffers even in this life. As his mother, she felt useless. She can't even protect her own son. 

"I want to talk to him. I want to talk to Zen." Mayu spoke with a determined face. 

All these years, she was not slacking off at all! She can now protect her family! She will never let someone destroy it again!

Takemichi was sitting on the ground while staring at his father's grave. He finally avenges him. Although he is his second father, he is kind to him and shows him fatherly love. 

"Look, dad, I'm following you and mom's footsteps. Are you proud of me? If only you were here to see my achievements. You don't need to worry about me. Big sister was taking care of me greatly. "

"Kokonoi..." Takemichi looked at the grave besides his father's. 

"Inui is doing good here. He said to take care of his sister for him. Don't mess around there, okay?" 

Although he is smiling, his eyes are dull and full of sadness and tiredness. There are even dark circles that start to appear under his eyes. He can't sleep properly at night; he always has nightmares. 

With that, Takemichi starts to leave. His sister told him that something important had come up.

When Takemichi entered the house, he noticed that someone was cooking because of the smell. He didn't know why, but this smell made his heart ache even more, maybe because he missed his mother so much. He is a mommy's boy after all.
 
He goes to the kitchen and sees a woman wearing an apron cooking happily. Takemichi narrowed his eyes. She felt familiar. 

"Who are you?" Takemichi said coldly.

The woman was startled and turned around. Her heart shook when she saw Takemichi. She felt nervous because she could finally meet her son after what happened. 

"Z-Zen... Is it really you?" Although she already knows, she still wants to hear the answer from him. 

"I don't know you. Who are you?" Takemichi still had his stoic face.

Mayu's heart ached seeing her son's face. He is colder. Her son's smile, which could rival even the sun, was now gone. Why? Why did it have to turn out like this? 

"I-It's me. Mommy." Mayu burst into tears and started to approach Takemichi. 

Son... Live freely.

His mother's death flashed into his eyes. His body started to shake. His breathing starts to become unstable.

"N-No.. . Don't kill... " Takemichi gasped for air. 

Seeing her son like this, she embraces him in a hug and rubs his back in a circular manner. 

"Shhhh... It's okay. Everything is fine now. Mommy is here to protect you. There's nothing to worry about." Mayu's voice was so gentle and soft. 

"Calm down.... I'm here with you." 

Takemichi starts to calm down, and his breath becomes a little more stable. 

"I-Is that really you? It's not a dream, right? I'm not dreaming, right? If it is, I don't want to wake up! Please don't go! I'll do everything!" Takemichi burst into tears. If this really was his mother, then this is the happiest day of his life. 

"It's really me. Mom is here; I won't leave," she kissed Takemichi's forehead.

 Takemichi's dull eyes slowly come back to life.
