"How... how did you... How are you..?" Ishim said, wings twitching and fear etched on his face.
"Alive?" you finished, raising a brow as you spun your Archangel Blade in your hand. "Technically I'm not, just ask Death himself," you said, shrugging.
"How was your nap, Dove?" Lucifer asked, chuckling as he grabbed Ishim before he could get his bearings. "Did you have a good dream?"
"It was... interesting," you said, stepping out of your little hiding spot. "It was like I was stepping into a weird crossover episode or something."
"I suppose this Djinn was one that makes your desires a reality," Raphael said, sighing out of relief. "I'll admit, I was worried you were about to discover your worst fear."
You chuckled and scratched the back of your head. "Yeah, I think we both know my worst fear at this point."
"Your dick of an ex coming back?" Lucifer asked, pushing Ishim to his knees.
"...did you tell him?" you asked Raphael, knowing you never told Lucifer about Spencer.
"I did not," Raphael said, narrowing his eyes at his brother. "I mentioned your ex to Michael but it was in passing."
"Doesn't matter how I know," Lucifer said, waving a hand. "Are you gonna call them or will I?"
"They will come when I call, not you," Raphael sighed, shaking his head as he looked up to the sky. "Flight Garrison of the Tenth Choir, front and center!"
In a matter of seconds, five angels appeared kneeling before Raphael. Their matching wings were pulled back as a sign of respect for the Archangel, their backs turned to Lucifer and Ishim. You saw Lily, who was guarding Müller and the shifter, jump in surprise at the Garrison's appearance. Lily recognized almost all of them, though, the angel in a tan trenchcoat kneeling a bit further away from the group was new. Mirabel, Benjamin, Jedidah, Silas, and Castiel were all there, waiting to hear Raphael's instructions.
"Flight Garrison," Raphael greeted.
"Keeper of Knowledge," the Garrison greeted back, their heads down.
"You have been called here because there is a traitor amongst your ranks," Raphael said, his gaze trailing up to Ishim. "Your flight command, Ishim of the Tenth Choir, has been witnessed conspiring with the enemy and falsifying reports spanning a hundred years. You may come to me with your questions now."
"Which case was falsified?" Mirabel asked, being quicker than her fellow angels.
"The case regarding Lily Sunder and her family in Orono, Maine, 1901," Raphael informed them. "Lily Sunder's only daughter, May Sunder, was not a Nephilim, making Akobel innocent of what he thought was his crime."
"Which enemy was he conspiring with?" Benjamin asked. "And who was the victim of this betrayal?"
"Ishim was conspiring with a member of the Thule, a Necromancing Society created in Nazi Germany, along with that member's correspondents," Raphael answered before motioning to you. "As for the main victim, it seems that his target was my Blessed Human," Raphael introduced you and, for the first time, all five angels had their eyes on you. Castiel had an inkling of a smile when seeing you before his face went back to its stoic expression.
"Are you well, Oh Blessed One?" Castiel asked, properly formal when addressing you.
"I am," you said, nodding. "Ishim caused me no physical harm."
"I beg to differ," Lucifer said, getting everyone's attention. "He almost choked you out in front of me, I wouldn't call that a lack of physical harm."
