A/N: Yeah... I couldn't resist writing porn with Lucifer haha

~ ~ ~

"You good?" Lucifer asked from your doorway, making you jump.

"Fucking Hell, Lucifer," you huffed, setting your book down on your bed. "Knocking's a thing, y'know?"

"You didn't answer my question," Lucifer sighed as he walked toward you, kicking your door closed. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," you said, brushing him off as you picked up a notebook and pencil.

"No," Lucifer said as he pulled the notebook out of your hands, "you're not. What are you even writing in here?" Lucifer asked, observing the notebook.

"Give that back," you said, rolling your eyes as you reached for your notebook. But Lucifer wasn't going to give it to you that easily, he kept you away with one arm while the other held your notebook sideways. "Lucifer!"

"Why are you writing down facts about Hell?" Lucifer questioned, raising a brow at you before glancing at your bed and the small stack of books you had piled next to your pillow. "Paradise Lost? Dante's Inferno? Some of Raph's research notes? What's with the obsession?"

"Not an obsession," you said, finally able to snag your notebook from his hands. "I'm just doing some research."

"Why?" Lucifer asked, a teasing smile on his face. "Prepping for something?"

"Something like that," you huffed, turning away from him. You took your pencil and wrote down your thoughts about what you remembered about Hell from the show, comparing it to the notes you were taking from Raphael's research.

"Little Dove," Lucifer called in a sing-song voice. "Are you prepping to be my Queen?"

"What?" you asked, spinning to face his smug grin.

"Y'know, I'm kinda flattered you think of us like that," Lucifer said, stepping toward you and grabbing your waist with one arm. "I'm ashamed to say that I haven't quite thought of long-term plans but for Father's sake, we haven't even been together for a year."

"That's not it," you said, huffing out a laugh.

"Then why?" Lucifer asked, pulling you against him. The teasing glint and smug look were gone, replaced with concern. "Why have you been stretching yourself so thin with research about my realm?"

"Lucifer, I'm fine," you said, giving him a soft smile.

"No, you're not," Lucifer said, cupping your cheek. "You know how I know you're not?" Lucifer asked while moving his hand to your chin, tilting your head up to him as you shook your head. "Because Raphael is exhausted, he can barely lift his wings without effort. And we Archangels don't get tired easily," Lucifer emphasized his point by poking your nose.

"So, I'm going a little overboard," you admitted, pulling away from him with a slight dust of pink on your cheeks. "I just need to finish a few things, then I'll go to bed."

For the last few weeks, you've been doing research on Hell so you could understand its concepts more and what humanity got right and wrong. From the file you got from Loki, you learned that he really didn't know a lot about Asmodeus. He had a list of all of the places on Earth that Asmodeus used but Loki knew nothing about Hell. You suspected that Asmodeus brought Gabriel into one of the circles of Hell to keep him hidden from Heaven's eyes. Lucifer also spent most of his time on Earth, only popping down to Hell when absolutely needed or to let off some steam on a locked-up soul. You told Chuck about your thoughts and he agreed but decided to ask Lucifer to confirm the Princes of Hell's Earth bases as a way to keep a log. Lucifer didn't question it and gave Chuck the records he had, making the search for Gabriel slightly easier. So you could get some rest, Chuck checked all of the bases himself. With his status, he could easily bypass everything that Asmodeus could have put up, but God found nothing remotely relating to Gabriel. So, Chuck decided that he would have to go to Hell. You wanted to do some research and narrow down the search so Chuck could get in and out.
