Ch 10 Once in a life time

Gabriel POV

"Oi what the fuck is wrong with Mr B?" I ask.
"I have no idea. But it's scaring me." Nate says. We are all looking at Mr B, sorry Owen. He's all over trouble, kissing her, whispering in her ear. Ever since she woke up he won't let her out of his sight. We were all lucky to get some time with her this morning before he came swooping in.

The train ride out to this place isn't so bad. Well it would be better if I had me some trouble in my lap. Fuck I love the way her sweet ass body fits to mine. I can't wait until the day that she will be completely mine....ours. Hold the fucking phone.

"Shit you don't think." I ask Luke.
"Think what?"
"The sound last night. Mr B acting like well, fuck not him. Trouble was walking slower as well. Fuck me, shit. No, he couldn't have." I can see Luke and Nate thinking.
"Well dam!" Nate says "Mr B took honey's card."
"What? What card?" Luke looks confused.
"What are you talking about?" Silas moves closer to us followed by North and Kota.
"Mr B, I swear he's been taken over by pod people. Did they probe him or something." Luke says looking around at all of us like a lost puppy.

"No, but I bet he did some probing." Sean sneaks up on us. It's like a ticking time bomb. I have figured this shit out already. Just waiting to see how all these fuckers respond.
It fucking funny. You can see all the light bulbs go off at once. I'm waiting for North to blow up. I think we all are. He surprises the shit out of me, by smiling. The biggest fucking smile I have ever seen on his face.

Luke POV

Arriving at this castle I can't stop thinking about cupcake. She's ready, and Owen got in first. Lucky dog. I wish I saved myself now. Before Sang came into our lives I was jumping from one bird to the next. The day I met her on the old play equipment, everything changed. I didn't know it then, but that was the moment I fell in love. It slowly crept up on me and felt like my whole world got brighter and brighter everyday because of this small beautiful girl.

Being so lost in day dreams again I realise I'm standing in front of an information board about this king dudes wife's.
Hold on didn't Kota tell Gabe that he had eight wive's and killed six? Oh this is to good.

"Ah, Kota come here for a moment."
"What is it Luke?" He walks over with Doc, North and Silas.
"Hold on. I need to live in this moment a little longer."
"What's going on here?" Mr B asks. He's brought Gabe, Nate, Victor and Sang with him. Oh this is just to good to pass up now.
"Wait, I hear angels playing, children giggling, harps, ah, harping. Okay, okay. Kota do you remember what you told Gabe about this king dudes wive's?"
"Yeah, why?"

I dramatically clear my throat. "This is such a big moment, it's a once in a life time chance for me."
"Just fucking tell us." North growls out.
"Party pooper. Okay Kota, my dear friend, brother, I am delighted to be the one to tell you, you were wrong!" I can't keep the huge grin off my face.

"What!?" Vic looks at him in shock. Kota is not saying anything. He's looking pretty dumb founded right now.

"Let professor Luke explain." I say pacing up and down in front of the information wall.
"I have just found a little, I guess you could call it a poem about his wive's." I point to a picture of this king guy.

"It goes a little something like this. 'Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived'. So in fact he had six wive's not eight as Kota said, and he only killed two. The other one died in child birth. Dam is this what it feels like to be right. I feel good. Let's get this show on the road." Doing my happy dance I move off into the next room.
