Ch.33 A vibrating Kota

Sang POV

We land in Auckland, New Zealand mid morning, having only today and tomorrow to look around since spending so much time in Australia.

Straight after dropping our bags off at our hotel, we make our way to the edge of the city to do something that I've been told everyone has to do when they visit here...... Bungee jumping. Even if it's only to myself, I will admit I am freaking out.

They take us one at a time up to the platform, geared up. That is after we sign a waver, stating that they have done all safety checks and if we are inverted or die now one can sue them. Surprisingly Victor is the first to want to go up. He only hesitates a moment before jumping yelling out if joy. After each one goes they all come back to tell me how great it is and how it makes them feel alive.
Luke made me laugh the most, going up a second time being conducted by the waist rather then the feet. He did a few silly things mid air.

At night we a had a quiet dinner at our hotel, knowing we would have to be up early again for Kota's surprise.

The alarm goes off at 5am and Kota is burrowing back into his pillow. Today is for him, but I know most of the others are excited or interested as well. "Kota my love, it's time to get up." I kiss across his bare back. "It's too early sweetie, go back to sleep."
"Don't you want you surprise?"
"What surprise?" He turns his head towards me only cracking his eyes open. "We need to get on a tour bus soon to go see it."
"See what?" I can see the many more questions in his eyes as he rolls onto his back.

"Middle earth."

Who knew two words would get him up and moving so fast. Kota was shooing everyone out the door as fast as possible, not wanting to miss the bus.
With camera in hand I could feel him vibrating in his seat next to me as we came across the road sign pointing us in the direction to go.

Running down the steps he jumps off the bus straight towards the first area he reaches, taking a photo.

"I can't believe I'm really here. This is where they filmed the movie. What the books came to life." He mumbles some more but it's all lost in his excitement.

I can feel the energy vibrating off him the further we go in and the more we see. Some of the gardens are so beautiful, I hope I can grow one close to this around our home.

Photos upon photos are taken of everything. Only myself and Gabe can walk comfortably inside most of the little houses. Poor Silas and North almost have to crawl in some areas. They learnt after the first two yo just wait outside.

After looking into all the homes, we decide to walk on one of the trails. For some reason Kota isn't looking up but at his iPad. "This is it. I knew I had seen this area before. Can someone get a photo of this on my phone and camera for me. I have to send this straight away to mom and Jess." Silas takes both and gets Kota's photos for him. I look on his phone after he has sent the pic and can't help but giggle. He has part of the movie pulled up which matches the exact spot we are standing in.

The trail leads us back to the village where we started, just in time for lunch. Again Kota is snapping photos of everything. He is such a sexy near, my sexy nerd.

By mid afternoon we are back on the bus on our way back to Auckland. Tomorrow we say goodbye and make our way back home.
