by the time you finish this chapter, it'll most probably be up

"yeah! i'll get — the.."
tsireya throws out a response over to kiri as soon the rain had slowed the next day after. ever since they've woken up, the group had decided to make charms to pass time.
plus, it was a cute idea.

but her smile falls into a gap, eyeing the two bodies squished up against one another.
it's clear to her that it's neteyam and ao'nung.
very clear.

"ah.." she breathes out, tip toeing around the two to grab the needed items in a small chest.
but her eyes hadn't left the sleeping boys, now noticing how ao'nung isn't emitting thundering snores like she usually hears.

he's at peace.
ao'nung had found it.
his younger sister couldn't help but feel content with the idea of how neteyam brings him the calm, completely changing his sleeping habits.

as soon as tsireya locates the chest and grabs it, she turns around to see a pair of eyes looking up at her, causing cold sweat rush through.

"eywa! you scared me! why're you even staring at me like that?! you look like a doll!" tsireya holds onto her chest as a whisper yell converts over to a grinning ao'nung, blinking away from the sleepiness.

"oh.. the suns out." he mumbles, untangling his body from the forest na'vi and sat slumped.
"are you guys making charms?" his eyes ogles at the chest in tsireya's gripping fingers as she nods.

"do you guys want to join us?"
ao'nung averts his gaze over to the shifting boy who's having some struggling with opening his eyes.
"sure" he nods, looking back to her before tsireya leaves.

"morning.." neteyam groggily voices into a hoarse, now sitting up beside ao'nung who's kept his gaze on the tired boy.
"hi.." ao'nung mutters, the smile not ever leaving.

"argh it's so hot!" neteyam groans in a squinted scowl, quickly removing the thousands of layers over himself.
ao'nung couldn't help but chuckle at his manner, finding it both absolute hilarious and adorable.

"do you want to make charms?"
neteyam places the blankets aside before tilting his head over to ao'nung who still had a grin.
"where is this coming from?"
"reya and the others are making them, she asked if we wanted to"

neteyam's lips form into an 'o' shape, coming to the understanding of what he meant before nodding in excitement.

the two then stretch into a stand with silent yawns shared between the two.
ao'nung's eyes catches onto the semi-bright sky, igniting full exhilaration for what he had devoted to the night prior.
"what's gotten you so happy?" neteyam chuckles, roaming his hands over his head in making sure it's not messy.

"oh- nothing, just happy that it's a new day."
ao'nung turns around with a light smile plastered.
neteyam wasn't sure what he meant but goes with it anyway, waving him over to the pod's exit.

neteyam's eyes dance around the village, immediately noticing droplets forming and falling off of wooden pieces along the marui pods and mainly the stiffness of the roped bridge.

"something about the village after it rains feels different, almost nostalgic?" neteyam explains, eyes still roaming around his surroundings whilst walking towards the other marui pod.

"nostalgic..?" ao'nung tilts his head and removes his gaze from the boy, now looking around the surroundings as well.
"maybe it's the wet smell of wood. reminds me of home."
"that might be it, majority of the builds are wooden so that makes sense." ao'nung nods, proceeding with what neteyam had voiced.
