Chapter 32: Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids

*3 months later*

As you walk down the corridor you hear Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator talking. Quietly you hide around the corner before the two see or hear you, listening in on the two elders conversation.

"Papa, we need to exterminate them! Y/N is a threat to all our plans!" Sister says which makes Nihil scoff. "You just don't like them because they're nice to the ghouls, especially Copia's." He says which makes Sister start yelling in Latin at him.

You were frozen in fear at the thought of being hunted down by the ghoul known as Special that you've been told about by all the others. Once a nice peaceful ghoul who did interviews for the band, now twisted and purely out to kill once given the go ahead. The sound of footsteps snaps you from your thoughts.

Quickly you hide in behind the window tapestry. The sound of Nihil and Sister fades into the other end of the hallway as the door slams shut behind them.

Waiting a few seconds, you look to make sure they were gone. But you were met with the eyes of the executioner ghoul, he smiles wickedly before taking a step closer. "Finally we meet! How long I've waited for this day to come! It truly is a great honor to be able to kill you Y/N L/N. I'll make sure to leave a beautiful and bloody display of your corpse once I'm done." Special says as his ghostly white eyes stare down at you with the full intent to kill.

"Sister told me you had powers but soon you'll be nothing but a hollow husk for me to use as a pin cushion." He continues as he grabs hold of your neck and pulls you from the window, your feet not touching the ground as he holds you. "Too bad that wannabe fire ghoul and the scaredy cat water ghoul claimed you before I could, I would've loved to have you as mine. Make you mine over and over again, you'd be my black widow spider. My lovely jewel and most of all, I would make you one of me~ I'd turn you. Keep you as my mate for all eternity."

You struggled to get out of his grasp as your vision began to fade into darkness. Suddenly he dropped you to the ground and began purring before he dropped to his knees and pinned you down. "I could just do that anyways~ skip the whole killing you bit and make you my new mate." He whispered into your ear before pulling away with a demented smile. "I'll let you think about it~ my rooms the one near the staircase in the third corridor on the left."

The sound of footsteps was heard which distracted the era three ghoul that was on top of you. You shove the ghoul off and fearfully run over to the two ghouls that felt your distress. Dew and Rain pull you close, both begin growling at the taller stronger built ghoul who was now standing in anger with glowing show white eyes. "How nice of you to join me and Y/N, we were just talking about the two of you." Special said with a fake delighted tone lacing his voice.

Special takes a step closer which makes the two ghouls holding you eyes to turn pure black. "Leave Y/N the fuck alone!" Dew yells as he lets go of you and steps closer to the older ghoul. The ghoul laughs and looks down at Dew who stood his ground. "Aww tiny wants to fight, how cute~ Pretty funny considering a few months ago I heard you getting pegged by Y/N before you drug the water ghoul into you and your supposed mates problems." Special said coldly but wore a smile which ticked the fire ghoul off more than ever.

"You killed your last mate! You wore them down and after you made them carry your kits until their births you then proceeded to kill your mate and give the kits to Papa Terzo! I should know because I AM ONE OF THOSE KITS!" Dew yelled which made Special's smile fade and his eyes widen.

The tension was thick enough to cut with a knife but Special and Dew kept standing their grounds. That was until Rain rushed over beside Dew and tried to get the two ghouls to not fight anymore.

"So you're one of my kits from all those years ago? Pathetic, just like your mother! All you got from me was the ghoul traits other than that you are nothing like me!" Special yelled which made Rain flinch at the loudness that echoed down the hall.

"Y/N I was trying to be generous but my pathetic excuse for a son and an even worse fire ghoul wants to be difficult so looks like we're doing things the hard way!" The tall ghoul says as he pulls out a blade and swings it at Dew and Rain. A burst of anger and protectiveness fills your body as you pulls your mates away from the blades strike. You throw your hand up in front of you and it sends out a blast that knocks the knife out of Special's grasp and sends him against the wall with it.

"Oh you bitch!" Special yells as he holds his now broken horn in his hands. Dew and Rain were trying to fight out of your powers grasp on them so they could fight along side you but to no avail.

Special swings another knife at you but you move which makes it hit the wall on the other side of the hallway. You quickly grab Rain and Dew's hands and pull them both down the hallway and through the ministry. Soon you pull them into their rooms. "Gather what you want to take with you, hurry."

After a few moments the three of you hear the sound of eerie whistling from the end of the hall that echos off the walls. "Quick we can go out the window in Dew's bedroom." You whisper to rain and you and him sneak into the fire ghouls bedroom. Quietly you close the door and lock it as Dew and Rain sneak out the window with their things. You join the two and slide down the tree Dew had the night you had first found him.

*Time skip*

The three of you run to your house where you find Aether, Swiss, Mountain, Sunshine, Cumulus, and Cirrus sitting on your porch talking. Soon you lock eyes with them and rush to the porch before unlocking the door and hurrying all of them inside.

"Took you guys long enough to find em, we were all starting to worry." Swiss said sarcastically at first to Dew and Rain. Soon they all shift from their human forms back into their ghoul forms. The ghoulettes pulled you into a tight hug and wrapped their tails around you. "We were worried and we all wanted to help but Copia kept telling us to go." Cumulus said with tears in her eyes. You cup her face and wipe the tears that began running down her face. "Don't worry, those bastards won't kill me so easily." You tell her as the three of them pull away and the ghouls hug you for a few moments. Then Dew and Rain jump into your arms which causes you to all three fall onto the couch together.
