"Goddamnit, Chaeyoungie." Mina lets out a heavy sigh, carrying the younger to her bed.

Chaeyoung's mind was spinning madly, a few incoherent words were being slurred out of her mouth.

"W-Who are you?" Mina chuckles. "You don't remember your best friend anymore?"

"Mina? I thought you left me already." Mina stares at her confused, Chaeyoung rubbing her eyes slowly.

"As if I'd leave you alone in a bar filled with strangers."

"You love me too much." Chaeyoung smiles, teasing the already blushing Mina.

"Shut up and go to bed already. I have stuff to do."

Mina sticks her tongue out at Chaeyoung before getting up and walking to her bedroom. She's been trying to wean herself off of the sleeping gummies Chaeyoung has been giving her, but she still finds it hard to sleep without them.

The door clicks shut behind her and she leans against it, closing her eyes as a wave of fatigue washes over her. A few moments later, there's a light knock on the door. Mina assumes that it's Chaeyoung coming back to bed so she doesn't answer.

The knocking persists until finally Mina opens the door only to find her brother standing there with a bottle of water in his hand. "I saw you leave earlier so I figured you might be thirsty." He hands her the water before turning around and leaving without another word.

Mina takes a sip of the water before setting it down on her nightstand and getting back into bed. She's exhausted from everything that happened today, but sleep doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon. "I wonder what it feels like to be yours, Chaeyoungie."

Mina's mind wandered as she lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. She had been suppressing her feelings for Chaeyoung for so long, convincing herself that they were just best friends. But the events of the night had stirred up something inside her that she couldn't ignore.

She had seen Chaeyoung flirting with someone at the bar, and the jealousy that consumed her had taken her by surprise. She had never felt that way before, and it scared her.

As she lay there, lost in thought, she heard the bedroom door creak open. She turned her head to see Chaeyoung tiptoeing in, trying not to wake her. Mina couldn't help but smile at how cute she looked.

"Sorry for waking you up," Chaeyoung whispered, slipping under the covers. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

"I'm fine," Mina replied softly, turning to face her. "Thanks for taking care of me tonight." Chaeyoung says with a smile on her face, eyes meeting Mina's.

"Of course. You know I'll always be here for you."

Mina felt her heart skip a beat at Chaeyoung's actions. She wanted to tell her how she felt, to finally confess everything she had been holding back for so long. But the fear of ruining their friendship held her back.

They lay there in silence, the only sound the soft rhythm of their breathing. Mina's mind was racing with thoughts of what could be, but she didn't dare say anything. She was content just lying there with Chaeyoung, enjoying the warmth of her body.

As sleep finally started to take hold of her, Mina couldn't help but wonder if Chaeyoung felt the same way she did. She closed her eyes, letting herself drift off to the sound of Chaeyoung's breathing, hoping that one day she would find the courage to tell her how she truly felt.

The following morning, Mina woke up to the sound of Chaeyoung's soft snores. She turned over to face her best friend, studying her features as the morning light filtered into the room. Chaeyoung looked so peaceful, and Mina couldn't help but smile at the sight.
