AFTERNOON

You've significantly calmed down since this morning, but only because Dash forced you to eat half of her grilled cheese and take a nap. Some part of you was expecting to wake up from a long, horrid dream but these large ears were still with you as you awake in Dash's lap.

"Not to make you feel worse," Sunset started with a smile, "but you've stayed transformed longer than any of us have."

You nod but neglect to respond: you had nothing to add, but this, in fact, made you feel worse. Thankfully, Sunset's book started vibrating and forbade an awkward silence. Her eyes rapidly scanned a glowing page.

She smiled, getting up. "She's coming through! I'll go get her, you two stay here." You and Dash both nod.

"...How do you feel?" Dash's fingers slid into your hair, scratching your scalp.

"Better."

"I wonder why." She softly laughed when you flicked her knee.

"You said it was shock." Sure food and a nap helped, but this defense response was definitely the leading factor in your frenzy.

"Yeah, yeah." Her hand ran down your body before going back into your hair, scratching your kitchen this time. She took your hair out of its four sections and put it into a ponytail before you two drove here.

WITH SUNSET SHIMMER AND
PRINCESS TWILIGHT SPARKLE

"Twilight!" Sunset Shimmer ecstatically waved when she saw the Princess sitting on a bus bench.

Spike was initially lying on the ground and napping at Twilight's feet but jumped awake from Sunset's yell. Twilight looked over, awkwardly waving and wobbly getting up to walk to Sunset's car. No matter how many times she travels to Canterlot, her mind takes some time to adjust to a different anatomical structure.

Sunset leaned over to push the passenger door open. "I hate that you only return when there's trouble. The last time we all actually hung out was the carnival at CHS."

Both the girls sighed with a smile, "A year ago."

Twilight laughed as she sat down. "Before we go, you said Rainbow's girlfriend is [Your name]? As in [Your name]-[Your name]?"

"Uh... yeah?" Sunset awkwardly smiled. "Is.. that a problem?"

"No, it's just that.. Princess Celestia knows a [Your name]. They're really close. She was her messenger hundreds of years ago, and she's still alive. I've seen her once, but it's really rare because she doesn't care for royal duties anymore, and Spike here uses his Dragon Breath to transport scrolls." The latter was sitting on Twilight's lap.

Sunset chuckled, lifting her foot from the break. "Well, humans or ponies don't live that long. I know Equestria doesn't have surnames like us but I'm sure they're different."

"Maybe..."

BACK AT SUNSET SHIMMER'S HOUSE

"Is it her?" Sunset rather randomly asked as she and Princess Twilight walked through the front door.

Twilight squint. "No... not exactly. I guess you're right."

there's a dog ... it's Spike   -You ignored it, likely him if the universe was aligning again. "Am I who?"

"Nothing," Sunset smiled. You sat up as the two walked over. "It's fine. We can't get distracted."

"So what are you guys planning?" Dash inquired. "No offense but.. I don't think spells work here. No horns."

"Well, I did bring a spell book!" Twilight smiled as she opened her bag. "You three would have come to Equestria if Sunset wasn't worried about what would happen if we mix the magics, so we brought it here first. If we find a spell, then we'll go to Equestria to perform it."

tedious  -Twilight turned to you. "Besides Rainbow Dash, do you have any experiences with magic?" You shook your head.

she's very different from this world's Twilight. more confident and outspoken   -She flipped to a random page.

"Sunset Shimmer said that you have a bracelet with a hoshi no tama, or a star ball in English. Can I see it?" You hand Twilight your wrist, just as you did with Sunset, but seeing her struggle with flipping pages in the book, you pulled your sleeve back for her.

She momentarily studied the charm. "...I read that kitsune need these to stay alive, but you think your's is just a charm."

oh, that's how you say it in English  -You were pronouncing 'kitsune' with three syllables, but Twilight made it two sounds. "...Why don't you take it off and we can see if anything changes." You had no objections and let Dash take the jewelry off of your wrist.

"If it does, then we'll know this is a much bigger problem, but if it doesn't, I can just get the magic out of you." Dash offered to get up and take the bracelet far away, but you declined. You haven't used your legs in several hours at this point.
