"Do you need help?" Dash was watching you as you hurled the bag with your two's necessities out of the backseat.

"No, I'm very strong." You, in fact, were not. Being a kitsune has done nothing for your prowess, but this made sense considering how low foxes were on the muscle mass and strength scale.

"You look like you're struggling," you could hear her smile.

"I'm fine." Dash snickered as she grabbed the rolling cooler when you successfully put the straps of the bag over your shoulder. You were voted as the snack maker, responsible for keeping stomachs from growling until the evening. Dash has given you a reputation.

Holding her left hand as she led you two down the stairs, which led to the water, you took note that almost everyone was here. Only Sunset Shimmer was missing. As you got closer, you also took note of everyone's attire. You were the only one in an actual bikini, but it wasn't too noticeable as you were wearing an oversized button-up. You'd take it off when you decided to go in the water.

Rarity smiled as she noticed you and Dash. "We're all here!"

no, we're not  —You looked around for anything that looked like it belonged to Sunset Shimmer, but nothing.

You whispered to Dash, "Sunset isn't here."

Her eyebrows furrowed, rather harshly. "Who?"

is she mad   —"...Sunset Shimmer...?" You nervously smiled as Dash silently stared at you.

"...Are you okay?"

"Dash," you couldn't help but laugh, swatting her hand about to check your forehead away.

"You're the weird one. Why would anyone invite her anywhere?" You let the conversation end there as you two were now sitting down.

whatever  —Applejack walked over to see if Dash wanted to join her in retrieving the custom surfboards they ordered earlier in the week. The latter checked to make sure you would be okay for the next 5-10 minutes. You nod.

SURF SHOP

"Oh, AJ, get this." The country girl turned around to look at Rainbow Dash. "[Your name] asked if Sunset Shimmer was coming."

Applejack smiled, "You pullin my leg?"

"No," Rainbow Dash laughed. "And she was so serious too! If it was Pinkie Pie, I might've laughed and told her that's not funny, but [Your name] looked genuinely confused. I kinda felt bad."

"I mean, I get she was homeschooled until freshmen year, so she barely knows anything about Sunset Shimmer, but I thought hearing about the Fall Formal was enough, and then seeing how she blew up on Twilight at the Friendship Games."

"I mean.. she also intimidated Twilight," They both chuckled, "but it was within good reason! and she didn't just come stomping over like a certain someone. And she actually apologized."
