As Y/N jumped down the vault, everyone who stood near the elevator down to the vault froze in place.
Particularly Emerald and Mercury, the two staring down the empty platform with horror in their eyes.
Mercury: D-Dammit! No!
Emerald: Grr...! Damn you-!
Kicking Yang off her, Emerald brandishes her sickles and rushes towards her, but Yang blocks each swing and manages to get a kick to her stomach, sending her back.
However, due to Y/N leaving, this leaves Yang in a 1v2 and she quickly notices the numbers deficit, being kicked back by Mercury and hit with a blast from his boot.
Emerald: Don't think you've won because we couldn't hold him back! He's going to be turned to dust when Cinder burns him!
But, Yang scoffs and gets back into position.
Yang: How much are you willing to bet on that?
Pissed at Yang's daring smile, Emerald snarls and gets into her stance as well.
Emerald: Everything.
Emerald and Mercury dashed towards Yang, the blonde being forced on the defensive and clearly struggling, being unable to completely block out strikes and hits from the 2 henchmen.
But thankfully, as Yang gets knocked away again by a forceful slash from Emerald, Nora jumps from the sidelines and lands next to her.
Nora: Seems like you need a hand!
She brings out Magnhild and slams it to the ground.
Yang: Y-Yeah, some help would be appreciated!
Nora dashes towards Emerald and tries to slam her with her hammer, but Emerald swiftly sidesteps and forces Nora to block as she slashes her twice. Meanwhile, Yang and Mercury start brawling it out, with punches being thrown out by Yang and kicks being thrown out by Mercury.
Yang: HYAAAH!
Mercury: RAAAH!
Charging up their next strike, the two slam against each other, clashing for dominance over each other. Through gritted teeth, they eventually break off the clash and panted.
Mercury: You sure you're not gonna break my leg again? Like what you did at Beacon?
Yang: Ah-!
Sneering at the blonde, Yang lets out a low growl, but she quickly recomposes herself.
Yang: Funny you say that, considering there are no rules for this fight! Anything GOES! HRAAAH!
Firing shotgun pellets to boost her towards Mercury, the two get back to dodging and weaving one another with strikes, the battle between the two brawlers ensuing.
With Ruby, she gets sent back to a pillar from an earth dust blast by Leo. Quick to recover, she charges back towards him and swings her scythe, but Leo swiftly circles around her and blasts her again with a dust attack, showing off the clear experience difference between the two. \
