The three men left the truck a good distance away from the building. Rudy had discovered that Graves had set up a prison of sorts. Based on the way he had spoken before, they were sure he had planned to fill it up with various mythical creatures and monsters. Or just anyone that he didn't like.

Asshole.

The approached quietly, trying not to draw too much attention. They had to be careful as they anticipated the outside would be guarded by patrols of Shadows.

"Let's hope Alejandro's alive." Soap said, concerned.

"Count on it." Rudy assured him confidently, partly to ease his own fears.

Ghost and Soap had noticed Rodolfo looking more haggard and dull in color now that he was out of the water. They found that speaking to him seemed to help him perk up a bit.

"Rudy, how long have you known Alejandro?" Soap figured talking about him would help.

"20 years. He saved me from poachers when we were kids. A whole group of 'em, all by himself. We signed up together later. Toughest dude in the regiment." Rudy told him fondly.

"I wouldn't wanna mess with him." Soap agreed.

Rudy laughed, "We used to say, 'El unico que puede matar a alejandro es alejandro.'"

"What's it mean?" Ghost asked, curious.

"The only thing that can kill Alejandro, is Alejandro." Rudy translated.

"What is he anyway?" Soap asked, before snapping his mouth shut and shaking his head, "Sorry, you dinnae have to answer that if it's private."

"It's fine, perrito." Rudy told him, "Alejandro es un chupacabras."

"What?" Both Soap and Ghost's head snapped around, speaking in unison.

Rudy nodded, giggling at their surprise, "It's true. Su mamá era un vampiro y su padre un hombre lobo."

"That's bonkers!" Soap breathed, trying his best to be quiet.

"Sí. He's a big boy when he turns. Has to drain something if he wants to change back. He doesn't like to do it often." He explained before tacking on, "He is cute, though."

"Glad he's on our side." Soap murmured.

"A huevo."

The made it to the edge of the prison property. There were a few Shadows blocking their path to the wall. They made quick work of gunning them down. Soap and Ghost cleared a few of the men stationed at the top of the wall. As soon as the way was clear, they scaled the wall, getting themselves up and over.

Once they were topside, they entered the watchtower, and climbed down the hatch. They needed to find the security room so that they could locate Alejandro and the rest of the Vaqueros. There was a small brick security building at the base of the tower inside the perimeter walls of the prison.

The three men prepared themselves by the door before throwing the door open and opening fire on the room's occupants. Soap and Rudy hopped onto the cameras to locate their targets and to guide Ghost around the prison yard. Soap had worked up a bunch of charges to use as a diversion.

When Ghost had placed the last charge, he spoke into their comms, "All good here, Johnny. Have you located Alejandro?
"Perfect timing." Rudy told them, "I just found him." He showed Soap the cameras, "He's in solitary."

"Ghost. We found him. He's alone. Two Shadows on guard." Soap told the other man.

"Not for long." Ghost assured them, "We'll RV outside the cell block. We'll pry him loose."
