I quietly freed myself from the chains, with a little bit of force, a bit of technique, and... well, I don't know. It just unlocked.
I glared at Victor.
I jumped to my feet and then lunged right at Victor.
Then I stabbed the man, right where his heart was. His eyes widened in shock and fury, before he grunted, "A murderer yourself, eh?"
He then choked on himself, and suddenly he was on the ground, a look of fury painted on his face forever.
"You.... killed him." Dan said in a hushed voice.
Something stirred inside of me. "Yeah.... That.... That's my job, isn't it?" I asked, with a weary smile.
Dan nodded, but he remained quiet.
"Let's head out of here. I found the exit while we were being dragged to this room." I said quietly.
Dan nodded and quietly followed after me, as I led the way outside.
