Jabba's POV
"Jabs."
"Oh." Tugon ko habang nagbabasa.
"Hindi pa ba tayo aalis?" Usthero asked.
The three of us were inside the library. The reason why we're here is that the teachers got busy dealing with the disturbances. It is hard to do nothing while waiting for them to come as if they could. We didn't have a time fixed-schedule yet so we went here for advance studying.
"Why do you want to leave just now?" I asked as I turned the page of Accountancy book.
"Nagkakagulo na kasi sila sa labas baka kung ano na ang nangyayari doon." Sabi ni Ezebel.
"Baka hinahanap na tayong mga ABM doon, pre." Sabi ni Usthero.
"You can leave as you may but I don't have time to invest desperately knowing what was going on."
"Hindi ka ba nag-aalala sa kaguluhan?"
I stopped my readings. At inilipat ko ang paningin ko sa kanila. Ezebel and Usthero were in front of me. These two are couples and I am seeing the third-party here.
"I already taken it into an account that all of them will be blaming the school. In the sense of law, it is their duty to be liable to all the expenses and damages they incurred."
"Ibig mo bang sabihin, the school has to pay everything it costs?"
"Exactly."
"Paano 'yan? Malulugi ang school sa dami ng tao na napahamak at namatay. Isama na rin natin 'yung mga nasira na facilities sa labas ng campus. In the end, the school will be bankrupted."
"Hihintayin na lang ba natin na mag-anunsyo ang school na magsasara na sila?" Tanong ni Usthero.
"Yep."
"Lagot. Kung magsasara ang university na ito, mukhang babalik ulit tayo sa public school." Saad niya.
"Oo nga eh, no choice tayo but to take AFA strand. Wala pa namang ABM doon sa CIF." Malamlam na tugon ni Ezebel.
"Sa tingin ko, tayo ang mapagbibintangan. Tayong mga public ang nagkalat eh. Posibleng isisi nila sa batch natin ang pagkamatay ng mga taong nasawi." Nag-aalalang sabi ni Usthero.
Natahimik sila at naramdaman ko ang kapanglawan nila.
"Nope. The school has the duty to provide safety and guidance to their students. Tayo dapat ang top priority nila. Kaya dapat sila ang managot."
I unwinded the melancholy ambience they just created. I hate that feeling.
