(In Chemistry Class)
Mrs Vivian: So class, I'll be giving out your project topics and I expect you all to start working on them right away (she looks to the back of the class) Uh Bella, Where did Daniel go?
Bella: (puzzled) I don't know. Excuse me ma.
(Bella briskly walks out of the classroom too and catches up to Daniel in the hallway)
Bella: Hey! Hey! Slow down!
(Daniel furiously turns around to face her)
Daniel: WHAT?!
Bella: What's the matter with you? Why'd you walk out of the class like that?
Daniel: That's none of your business!
Bella: Well it actually is my business since we're both project partners and you walking out of the classroom like that without a permit could get us both in trouble (Daniel continues to glare at her) Did I do something to you?
Daniel: (angrily) Just stay away from me, Would you?!
(He walks off again, leaving Bella feeling even more sad and dejected)
(Later on)
(At The Cafeteria)
(Bella and Anna Kim Tae-Hyung pick a lone table and sit at it)
Bella: (gloomily) I honestly don't know what I did to him, Anna. He just h@tes me for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
Anna: Clear your mind off of it alright?
Bella: (sighs) Alright
Anna: That guy isn't worth it, Trust me. He may be hot, But he's definitely not smart because if he were, He wouldn't act like a total j£rk towards you
Bella: Men are scum
Anna: I second that.
(Bella takes out a straw from her bag and uses it to drink her water carefully, making sure not to get any of it on her skin)
Bella: Wait a minute, Maybe he learnt about my water allergy and thinks it's communicable. That's why he's acting all weird towards me, I'm certain.
Anna: Oh come on, Daniel obviously hasn't been living under a rock his whole life, He should know aquagenic urticaria can't be transmitted.
Bella: Then why does he h@te me?
Anna: (sighs) I have no clue.
(Jason joins them at their table)
Anna: Hi Jason!
Jason: Hey Anna, Do you mind if I sit with you both? The guys aren't having their lunch now and I don't wanna sit alone
Anna: Oh, Not a problem
(Jason sits down on their table with his food tray)
Jason: (To Bella) Hey
Bella: (embarrassed) Hi!
Jason: I also came by to check on you to know how you're doing. Sorry I didn't approach you earlier today
Bella: It's alright, Jason. I'm better now anyways and taking cautionary steps to help cope with my water allergy.
Jason: Advisable. I remember bringing you flowers every weekends while you were at the hospital, All I ever hoped for at that point was for you to get better
Bella: Wait... The flowers? That was you?
Jason: Yeah
Bella: I didn't know, They didn't tell me.
Jason: That's 'cause I told them not to let you know until I wanted you to know
Bella: Well thanks, I really appreciate that
Jason: Anytime. The fact you turned me down doesn't mean we still can't remain friends right?
Bella: (smiling) Absolutely
(Bella and Jason share a passionate hug)
Anna: (blushing) Awww...
Bella: You watch way too many K-drama, Anna
Anna: (giggles)
(Just then, Daniel enters into the cafeteria and glances around. As usual, Everyone focus their attention on him & stare at him affectionately)
Bella: (breathlessly) Daniel...
Anna: (irrit@ted) Ugh, There's the prideful d0ucheb@g (insult!ng Daniel in Korean language) 미친놈미친년씨발새끼호로새끼
Jason: What's up with that new guy anyway?
Anna: Nothing much, Except that he's a total j£rk and has pride boldly written all over him, I should've expected a guy this gorgeous would be egotistic and arrogant!
Bella: Come on, that's too much
Anna: No it's not!
(Daniel and Bella suddenly make eye contact and they stare at each other for a long while without saying anything till Daniel then exits the cafeteria)
Bella: (sighs) Huhhh...
(In the hallway)
(Daniel briskly walks along when Lindsay sees and approaches him)
Lindsay: Hi hottie!
Daniel: Uhh, Hey
Lindsay: (mesmerized) OMG, Your voice is sooo s£xy...
Daniel: Thanks
Lindsay: I saw you earlier today in the hallway and in chemistry class but I didn't introduce myself, How rude! Anyways, I'm Lindsay West, The daughter of Mayor West. My Dad's pretty famous around here, And the perks of being the mayor's daughter... I can get whatever I want and I can get away with literally anything
Daniel: Cool.
(Daniel attempts to leave but Lindsay blocks him)
Lindsay: Tell me about yourself
Daniel: Not now okay, I'm kind of in a hurry
Lindsay: But wait---
(Lindsay watches as Daniel leave, while biting her lips enticingly)
(Meanwhile)
Daniel: (He stares at his skin and notices it drying and flaking off) I need to find water...
(In the swimming pool room)
(The jocks are practicing for their upcoming competition when Daniel hastily walks in)
Daniel: (thinks) D@mn it, They're people in here
Reagan: (mockingly) Hey boys, Look! It's the new mysterious guy who's got all the girls drooling over him (laughs)
Boy 1: (To Daniel) What're you doing just standing there? Join us for a swim! Who knows? Maybe all that handsomeness is gonna wash off
Reagan: Hahahahaha! Good one bro! (He shares a fist bump with him)
Boy 2: Nice
(Daniel stares at the boys without saying anything)
Reagan: Have you gone deaf?! My pal here said you should join us in water!
Daniel: I don't feel like it.
Reagan: Ah really???
(Suddenly, Reagan viciously splashes water on Daniel)
Daniel: (he stares at the water on his arm in panic) Sh!t...
Boy 1: What's the matter? Afraid of a little water? (laughs)
(Daniel instantly races out of the swimming pool room and worriedly checks for empty rooms as he runs past the hallway. Luckily, He sees the janitor's closet up ahead and quickly runs into it. Inside the janitor's closet, Daniel briskly enters inside and heaves a sigh of relief then collapses to the floor as his legs suddenly transform into a large green merman tail)
