"Arrogance may not be a uniquely American trait, but I may say, you do it better than anyone," Schmidt said as soldiers brought Daphne and Steve in.

Walking up to Daphne get grabbed her face roughly in his hands. "And you. What a disappointment" he said. "But that's okay. You will just have to be reset."

"You're not going to touch her," Steve said.

"Ah, you may not think so but there are limits to what even you can do, Captain. Or did Erskine tell you otherwise?" Schmidt asked.

"He told me you were insane," Steve said.

"Yes. He resented my genius and tried to deny me what was rightfully mine. But he gave you everything. So, what made you so special?" Schmidt asked.

Steve let out a small laugh as he shook his head. "Nothing. I'm just a kid from Brooklyn."

His answer angered Schmidt who punched Steve square across the face before punching him in the stomach.

Daphne struggled in the agent's hold, freeing one of her arms before Schmidt held up the small remote.

"Ah, I knew this would come in handy" Schmidt smiled.

"Don't!" Steve exclaimed. "Daphne, it's okay. I can do this all day."

"Of course you can, of course. But unfortunately, I am on a tight schedule" Schmidt said before the rest of the Howling Commandoes came barreling through the windows.

As the agent let go of her, Daphne kicked at Schmidt's hand, causing him to drop the remote. But she had to duck as another agent began shooting at her.

Steve grabbed one of the Hydra agents and used him as a human shield as another tried to shoot him.

While the Commandoes took care of the other agents, Steve and Daphne went chasing after Schmidt.

Throwing his shield, Steve jammed in the closing door, giving them enough room to crawl through.

But before they could, another Hydra agent with a flamethrower came running at them, barely giving them enough time to hide behind a wall before the hallway erupted in flames.

Hearing gunfire and an explosion they turned to see Peggy had taken him down.

"You're late," Steve said to her.

As the two stood there, staring into each other's eyes Daphne cleared her throat, a small smirk on her face.

"Right," Steve mumbled, clearing his throat before they continued running through the base.

When they made it out to a large landing bay they spotted the Valkryie getting ready for takeoff. Between them and the plane were dozens of Allied and Hydra soldiers engaged in a fight.
