Standing in a large church in England next to Sam, Daphne watched as Steve and a few other men, carried Peggy's coffin down the aisle, the choir singing in the background.
When they all sat down, Steve sat next to Daphne, holding her hand tightly in his.
"And now, I would like to invite Sharon Carter to come up and say a few words."
When Daphne saw who Sharon Carter was her eyes grew wide. "Oh my god" she mumbled.
At her quiet outburst both Sam and Steve looked up, shocked to see the woman they all thought was Kate standing at the podium.
When Sharon looked back at them, she sighed, knowing her cover was going to be blown sooner or later.
"Margaret Carter was known to most as a founder of S.H.I.E.L.D. but I just knew her as Aunt Peggy," she said. Sam and Daphne glanced at each other, both of them knowing about the flirting that used to go on between Steve and Sharon.
"She had a photograph in her office. Aunt Peggy standing next to JFK. As a kid, that was pretty cool. But it was a lot to live up to. Which is why I never told anyone we were related. I asked her once how she managed to master diplomacy and espionage in a time when no one wanted to see a woman succeed at either. She said, compromise where you can. But where you can't, don't."

After the service, the three of them made their way back to their hotel. Steve had wandered off with Sharon, having a million questions about her new revelation.
"The signings happening today. Nat, Tony, Rhodey and Vision are signing" Sam said.
"How long do you think before the U.S Government is trying to put another chip in my neck?" she asked.
"Never. We wouldn't let them do that to you" Sam said.
Daphne gave him a small smile as he pulled out his phone that was beeping in his pocket. She looked at him worriedly as he frowned at the screen.
"What is it?" she asked.
"We need to find Steve. Something really bad just went down."

"A bomb hidden in a news van ripped through the UN building in Vienna. More than 70 people have been injured. At least 12 are dead, including Wakanda's King T'Chaka. Officials have released a video of a suspect who they have identified as James Buchanan Barnes, the Winter Soldier."
After hearing the news, Sam, Daphne, and Steve headed straight to Vienna.
In the chaos of the scene, it was easy for Daphne to blend into the crowd, spotting Nat sitting on a bench outside.
