chapter 42

Since our little argument me and Rhea have been off with each other only talking to each other when needed, now I know the full reason I feel so bad and the only thing I can do is apologies to Dom. I walk into the dinning area where Dom and Marie are," Dominik, can I talk to you?" I say " sure" he smiles and we walk out into the garden. " whats up" Dom says sitting on a sun lounger " Rhea told me what the plan was for last night and I just want to apologies, if I knew I would of came back" I say playing with my engagement because apparently that's what I do now when I'm anxious. " I appreciate the apology Luce, yeah I'm disappointed but I managed to rebook the thing tonight so as long as you don't go on one for your drunken adventures again, then it's all good"  he smiles at me " I promise, no more drunk adventures" I chuckle. Dom stands up and pulls me in to a hug "  just promise you won't tell her" he says " you have my word" I smile up at the taller man. 

We spend the day in town doing some shopping and gift buying, it's been so hard not telling Marie what the plan is because I know how she feels. I'm so excited for tonight thought. I just hope me and Rhea made up before it though, I hate getting the cold shoulder from Rhea but I can only apologise so many times. We decide to go home and eat lunch as we are eating out night. I see Rhea go into the garden so I follow. "can you talk to me please" I can't hide the sadness in my voice " I am" is all she says sitting down on the do " your not though your giving me small replies like the one you gave me" I sigh and sit next to her " Dom has gotten over it, why can't you" I finally look at her.  I watch her get up and say nothing, she walks and stands in front of me and stretches out her arms, I put my hands in hers and she pulls me up so I'm standing with her.  Rhea the pulls me into a hug and kisses the top of my head and I can't hide my smile, I have missed this. " I am sorry" I say into her chest " I know, I'm sorry too" she says, I look up at her and smile and she cups my face and kisses me. " ew, get a room" Dom laughs as we walks into the garden, I laugh and Rhea flips him off. 

We are getting ready for tonight's event, to say I'm excited for tonight is an understatement I know how Marie is feeling so I know she will be over the moon once tonight is done. It is time to get ready so me and Rhea are in our room finishing up, putting our finishing touches to our outfits and make up. Once me and Rea are done we obviously take a mirror selfie  and I put them on Instagram with the caption Bennett's on tour 🥳. As we finish getting ready first we wait in the living room and I go through the comments on my new post.

I put my  phone away and look at Rhea " bitch you will still call me tuna until the day I die" I laugh, " probably" Rhea laughs  

We arrive at the private beach we have and the path way is lit up with little lights leading us to two, two tables and chairs so it seems that we have have dinner with each other but separately so it'll be me and Rhea on one table and chairs and Dom and Marie on the other with lit candles on the tables underneath a  . " this is cute" I smile up at Rhea " right, Dom done well" she smiles and takes my hand in hers as we walk to the table. The waiter sits us down and takes our drinks order. We don't have to wait long before our food and drinks arrive, " so when do you wanna start wedding planning?" Rhea asked taking a mouthful of food, " well it depends on how quickly we gonna get married" I reply sipping on my cocktail " the quicker I get to call you Ms Bennett, the better" she smiles at me and if I couldn't hide my smile as my heart does a thousand beats per minute. " well, we should start planning as soon as we get back then" I smile at her. Rhea then leans over and plants a kiss on my lips.

We eat a three course meal and drink some cocktails and I have to say Dom has done amazingly and I can not wait for the moment he gets down on one knee and asks Marie to be his wife. We walk down further down the beach and there's some blankets, lights  a fire pit that's lit and a live band playing some music. We sit down on the blankets and pour some drinks and full into conversation. Then Dom stands up and taps his glass to get everyone attention, "  Firstly, I want to thank everyone working here for us tonight, I really appreciate it" he says raising his glass and us three cheer at the waiters and they laugh. "with that being said, there's actually a reason why I have organised this wonderful evening. Marie can you stand up and come to me?" he asked and Marie  gets up but looks so confused, I did have to giggle and Rhea playfully slaps my arm. " so, Marie we have been together for 12 years now and I couldn't be happier with anyone else" he smiles at Marie and Marie is already tearing up. Dom then gets down on one knee and continues to talk " Marie Juliette, you are the love of my life and I don't ever want to be without you" he pulls out a small black box and opens it " will you do me the honor of being my wife" his voice brakes as he starts to tear up, Marie just nods yes and we all cheer. Dom stands up and Marie jumps on Dom and he catches her and kisses her. Me and Rhea hug them and congratulate them. The live band stop " ladies and gentleman" the singer laughs making us laugh " we would like to welcome some Mayan dancers on the stage" he says and walks off and all cheer as they walk on playing some drums and dancing with fire. The mayan dancers put on a really amazing show and then Dominik goes on stage. " so guys, I hope you enjoyed the mayan dancers that was just to show a bit of the mexican heritage" Dom laughs " so, guys I have one more surprise for you, will Lucy and Rhea" he chuckles and I look at him confused " so, Demi as Judgement day we didn't really celebrate your engagement and Lucy, I found out that you and your girls didn't celebrate either. so... guys come out" he waves and me and Rhea turn around to see Damian, Fin, his wife Vero, Alexa and Ellie. I run over too Alexa and Ellie " the fuck yous doing here?" I laugh hugging them " Dom invited us to celebrate both engagements" Alexa laughs 

We pop some bottles of champagne and the live band plays some lively music so we can dance and enjoy ourselves. I step back for a second to catch my breath from dancing with Ellie and I watch everyone and they all seem very happy at this moment, Rhea is dancing with Damian, Fin and Vero are dancing with Dom and Marie and Ellie is dancing with Lexi. I smile as I watch everyone, it joys brings me so much joy watching my best friends, my wife to be and her friends having fun and loving life. I am broken at my thoughts as Rhea sits next to me " hey, you okay" she says putting an arm around me and I cuddle up to her and rest my head on her shoulder " I am so happy right now" I sniff " are you crying" she chuckles " no" I say wiping a tear, she gently pulls my head up so I'm looking into her dark blue eyes " lier" she chuckles " okay, but there happy tears" I let out a small chuckle and she uses the pad of her thumb to wipe a tear away 

" I love you, tuna" she kisses me 

" I love you too, Ripley"
