chapter 50

Rhea is slowing becoming herself again but I think it will take her until to funeral to fully get over her nonna's death. 

The funeral is today, me and Rhea are getting ready in her room and Rhea just looks so sad, I don't even know what to say to her to make her feel better " hey, you ready" I say as the cars to take us have pulled up outside. Rhea takes a steady breath " as I'll ever be" she  gives me a weak smile, I take her hand and we make our way to the car.

The send off was beautiful, Rhea, Calista and their parents did speeches, they were funny and beautiful at the same time, we all laughed and cried at the speeches. The Bennett family are so loving and such a caring family it breaks my heart seeing them so sad and having to go through this. 

We head back to Anna's and Peter's house were they hold a family gathering to celebrate the life of Rhea's nonna. there's a table with loads of different foods and a separate table for drinks and around the house are pictures of the memories they have of their nonna. The only positive side of this is that I get to meet Rhea's whole family.

I walk out to the garden and see Rhea sitting alone on her phone " hey" I smile as I walk up to her " hey" she smiles " how are you holding up" I say sitting on her lap " better now your here" she says " I will always be where you are" I smile up at her, she smiles down at me and kisses my forehead. Calista and her boyfriend Kheenen  walk over to us " hey guys" Calsita smiles at us " hey" me and Rhea say in unison " you remember Kheenen right" she smiles " barely, I was wasted last time I saw you" I laugh and they laugh with me. All four of us chill and have some drinks until the family start to leave and I see Rhea yawn as she closes the front door. " you tired" I ask wrap my arms around her " yeah, been a long, mentally draining day" she lets out a small chuckle " ready for bed?" I ask and she just gives me a tired nod. We say our goodnight to the rest of the family and head off to bed, and for the first time in which seem forever I fell asleep wraps in Rhea's arms. 

I wake up with Rhea still wrap around me, I gently move Rhea and climb out of bed.I change into some black yoga shorts and a grey crop top and black and white converse. I tie my hair up in a messy bun and make my way down the stairs. As I walk into the kitchen I notice Anna by herself clean the garden from yesterday " hey, let me help" I say smiling " oh, thank you dear" she says handing me a trash bag and I help her throw the rubbish away, as I bend down to pick some rubbish that's on the floor someone slaps my bum, this makes me jump and sequel. I turn to see Rhea laughing. " don't do that" I laugh and playfully slap her shoulder. Me, Rhea and Anna finish tidying up  the house.

Me and Rhea are in  bed watching shit tv and on our phones in a comfortable silence when Rhea brakes it " when are you flying back?" she says putting her phone her phone down. " ermm, to be honest, I didn't book a return" I chuckle " so you live here now?" Rhea chuckles " well, I didn't know when you was flying back, so I was gonna ask you and then try and book the same flight" I chuckle " I haven't booked a flight either" she laughs " wow we're so good at this" I laugh " okay let's book one now" she says picking her phone back up. After a couple of minutes of scrolling through flights " there's one tomorrow night, this flight will also get us back in time for RAW" she explains " are you ready to go back to work" I ask her " I think so, I miss the guys" she says " yeah but you don't want to go back too soon" I look at her " Luce, my Nonna was the life of the party, if she knew I was sitting around being all sad, she'll probably kick my ass" she laughs " well, as long as you're ready" I shrug . Rhea leans over and cups my face " I'm ready to go back" she smiles and kisses the tip of my nose. 

We spend the next day packing and spending time with the Bennett's, Anna and Peter treated me, Rhea, Calista and Kheenen to a nice meal and then Peter drive us to the airport. 

We chill in the sitting area with a coffee waiting for our flight to board, we didn't have to wait too long before we get called to the gate and we find our seats and relax. 

We get an uber straight to RAW, me and Rhea sneak into my office and we leave our bags in my office, no one knows that we are back yet because Rhea is going to make a return by saving Dom.

I sit in my office watching TJD on tv and LWO attack them from behind and Zelina is about to hit her finisher on Dom with Rhea sneaks in the ring by sneaking through the crowd and jumping over the barricade. Rhea hit's Zelina with the riptide and Dom and the rest of the judgement day just look at her in shock.

As I'm watching TJD leave the ring my mobile runs and it's Alexa, " hey, pexie" I say " your back?" she asked " yeah came back just now" I explain " good, meet me here in five" she says and I see that Alexa has sent me her location " is everything okay, Lex?" I ask because she's not her bubbly self " I'll explain once your here" she says " okay, I'll see you soon" I ask and the line disconnects. 

Alexa is waiting at the location " what's up" I say walking over to her, Alexa doesn't say anything to me, she just pulls me into a room which terms out to be a toilet, she checks to see if anyone is in here. " Lex, you're worrying me, what's going on?" I say just standing there watching her. Alexa the pulls me into a toilet cubicle and locks the door. " Lex, what the fuck is happening right now" I say more sternly " I'm late" is all she says " huh?" I raise an eyebrow in confusion she the puts her bag on the floor and pulls out a pregnancy test. " ohhhh" I say. Alexa then pulls down her leggings and sits on the toilet " do I actually have to been in here why you do that?" I say turning to face the door but laughing " yes, you're my emotional support system" she chuckles " I could of just waiting by the sinks" I laugh " plus shouldn't you be doing this with Ryan" I ask "  you're my best friend plus Ryan's on tour" she says and finished up, we exit the cubicle, Lex puts the test in the box and washed her hands " can we go back to your office, I don't want anyone to walk in why we wait?" she say " okay"  I smile at her and we make our way to my office.

" so, what are you hoping for?" I ask her unlocking my office " well, to be honest we have been trying for a few months now, we have just kept it hushed to keep the pressure off us" she smiles at me " oh wow, that's amazing" I smile at her. I make us a cup of coffee and as I sit down and hand Lex her coffee, as I do so her timer goes off to indicate the test is ready. Alexa takes the box out from her bag and begins to open it, as she does so there's a knock on my door. " hang on" I tell her and she nods. I get up and open the door and see TJD standing here " Lucy!!" Dom says in excitement " he guys, listen Ima little busy right now, can I meet you guys later?" I say and Rhea looks at me confused and then looks behind me and see's Bliss " who is it?" Alexa says " the judgement day" I tell her " it's okay Luce,  I just came to get our bags, Damian offered us a lift home and we're just going to get some food at nando's if you and Lex wanna come" Rhea says " I will, lex?" I turn and face her " I don't eat chicken but I can murder some halloumi fries" she chuckles " alright guys, we will meet you at catering, just give just like five mins?" I say and they nod and disappear. I sit back down and Lexa pulls the test out of the box, she takes a deep breath and looks at it. I just watch her as her eyes fill with tears " Lex?" I say softly, she looks at me and smiles " well, looks like you and Rhea are going to be aunties" she smiles " no fucking way" I say and I jump up and pull her into a hug and she laughs " how you feeling" I ask " I don't really know to be honest, I need time to process it" she chuckles " what about Ryan?" I ask her " oh, he will be over the moon" she laughs " please don't tell anyone" she says " I won't" I smile " I mean you can tell Rhea but I just want to keep it hush until the first scan at least" she says " understood" I laugh and we leave the office with mine and Rhea's bags and walk to catering.

We find TJD sitting here waiting for us, they stand up and greet us and we make our way to the exit, Rhea takes the bags off me as she won't let me carry them, Fin and Damian are in front of me so I jump on Damian's back for the bants, he catches me and laughs " your mad" he laughs " so I've been told" I laugh and he carries me to the car.

Me, Rhea, Alex and Damian are in Damain's car and Fin and Dom are in Fin's car, we arrive at nando's and find a table, we order our food and drinks  and everyone falls into a comfortable conversation, Rhea leans in " is Alexa okay?" she whispers " yeah, I'll tell you when we are home" I say and she nods and carries on with the meal. 

The meal was great, all laughs and jokes and just having a good time, after an hour or so we call it a night and Damian drops us home.
