"I'd absolutely love to practice karate with you and Mr. LaRusso but karate is my brother's thing, not mine. He said as long as he's around, which should be for a very long time, then I won't need anyone but him to protect me." Ellie strolled into, what she had recently found out was, the Miyagi Do Dojo. Her fingers tangled together as she nervously toyed with them, anytime Robby was beside her she tended to do many anxious mannerisms.

"I didn't know he was in charge of you." Ellie drew in a sharp breath, why did she keep forgetting that they had developed a fresh feud?

"Well, he's not," Ellie said as she brushed a string of blonde waves behind her ears. Her eyes scoured the place around her, seeing various large objects covered by beige tarps with layers of dust settled on top of them.

"The way you described your brother made me think I'd actually like him." Ellie wasn't quite listening, instead, she was trying to guess what was underneath the sheets.

"You might have, before he was Hawk, he was really nice. He changed after karate." Robby looked at her, her voice sounding far away making him believe she was thinking about something else. Ellie tilted her head as she looked at the objects, could they be cars? Certainly, it was possible. "Do you think these are cars? Mr. LaRusso told me he had loads of old cars before, but I've never seen them before." Robby couldn't help but smile.

Robby could listen to her ramble about cars, car parts, math, art, and books she'd read for hours. Even though he hardly understood any of it. Robby and Ellie both enjoyed cars, although Robby just liked the way they worked and had no idea how they functioned. Robby wasn't quite that interested in reading either, reading had always been hard for him ever since he was a little kid.

"You should hang around and see." Ellie sighed, hearing Eli's voice in the back of her head. Eli told her not to hang out with Robby anymore, that he was the enemy. Ellie didn't understand. The karate rivalry had absolutely nothing to do with her, so why was she dragging her into it?

"Maybe, I wouldn't wanna intrude on you and Mr. LaRusso." Robby smiled, maybe was like a crossroad to yes. At first, when everything happened with Hawk, Robby had been afraid that Ellie would drop him because of it. But, she didn't. Maybe Ellie was different that way.

"Hey Ellie," She jumped, Daniel startling her with his sudden appearance, "didn't expect to see you here." Ellie gave Daniel a quick smile. With everything that had been happening recently, she hadn't gotten to speak to him in a while.

"Hi, Mr. LaRusso," Ellie replied nervously, beginning to toy with her fingers again. It wasn't as if Robby hadn't noticed her fidgeting, but it was such a reoccurring thing that she did that he never brought it up. In fact, he thought it'd be rude to do so. However, he couldn't help but wonder if she fidgeted because she was anxious around him. Did he make her nervous? Did he cause her heart to skip a beat? That was all he could hope for.

"I'm actually glad you're here for this." Daniel smiled as he pulled the dusty tarp from the mystery object. Ellie coughed and waved the dust from her face as she blinked, hurriedly trying to see what the object was. She was right, it was in fact an older car. Ellie gasped, and, even though Robby didn't know as much about cars as Ellie did, he could tell that it was an old car. He knew if it were to be sold these days, Daniel would make tons of money.

"It's a-"

"1947 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible, I know!" Ellie squealed in a high-pitched voice. Even Daniel, who's known her for years now, was impressed by her vast knowledge of cars. "I told you, Robby, I told you they were cars!" Ellie smiled as she looked up at him. Did Ellie know he made his heart skip a beat? That her simple smile warmed every part of his body, and he strived to make sure that the smile was never removed from her statuesque face.
