Only an hour into clocking in, we had mutant trouble, I then took out a holotablet, and logged into a unique app, used to control defense robots and turrets. I finally got my eyes on those morons. I.V.A.N.A helped by utilizing some deep machine learning and AI algorithms to help assist in aiming and firing at the mutants.

"Nolan, Graciela, keeping shelling at them. If this doesn't kill them, at least it'll scare them away!" I ordered my workers.

"Wilco!" said Nolan. "I won't let you down!"

"Got it, sir!" said Graciela. "Will make it quick as well, we've got other things to do before clocking out."

Upon finally clearing out the mutants, we then stopped what we're doing. Ashley then came in. She gave us a stern look. But we could tell she was mainly looking in concern.

"Guys, we've got authorities coming to scour the city. I can't risk getting locked in here, so grab whatever equipment you need, and go home. Continue working from home, as once they come, we won't be able to leave the hideout until tomorrow morning. So, better safe than sorry. I can't risk the authorities coming down here." Ashley declared.

We then began clearing out the spaces. We grabbed our equipment and made our way to placing it in our vehicles. Ashley had robots from FedEx and U-Haul, come to help us haul the equipment form our desks and workspaces. Well, glad to know those companies still were a thing. So was Microsoft Teams and Outlook, so much for the future. Well, guess some things never change.

"Team, we meet tonight online via Teams." Ashley told us. "We're getting both Wheeler and Ross on the meeting as well. Ace, relay this message to Aurora and Ranger as well."

"Got it!" I said to my new boss. "See everyone online tonight. Any security and privacy concerns we need to worry about?"

"No, Ace! None! That's why we've got VPNs and anti-virus tools. Unfortunately, the authorities are cracking down hard, but we're not putting up, without a fight. Ace, once you get home, everyone stays home until dawn tomorrow. Unfortunately, there's possibly going to be a lockdown. If you need to order food or shop something, I suggest ordering online, and have it arrived at your house. Let's go, we've got only an hour, before they arrive!" instructed Ashley.
