!Clumsy Laf x Reader!

(MODERN AU)

Marquis De Lafayette was one of the most popular boys in school, including his friend group. Though he was very handsome and very popular, he was very clumsy. He literally had no body coordination, and would trip on everything.

Unlike him, you rarely noticed him, and kept to yourself. Little did you know he's liked you since forever.

(Y/N POV):

It was like any normal morning of school. You had your headphones in and was reading a Wattpad story. When you entered the building, you looked up and was much more conscious of who could see your phone or not.

After walking for a few minutes, you pass by the popular group in school and turn off your phone quickly.

You glance up, and see that Lafayette was looking at you? Wait. More like staring.

You locked eyes with him, but quickly looked back down to the floor as you quickly walked to your locker.

(LAF POV):

You stared at Y/N as she quickly walked away to her locker. When she was out of earshot you immediately turned to your friends.

"Herc! John! did you guys see that?" you say while lightly punching Hercules' shoulder.

"See what?" John says while looking up at you quizzically.

"Y/N just looked at me! For more than two seconds!" you say while smiling from ear to ear.

"Laf. If all you're gonna do is stare at her all day, you might as well stalk her! You need to tell her how you feel." Hercules says while pointing to your heart.

"I know I just..I'm too afraid to." you say while looking down.

After class, you Hercules and Laurens walk back to your lockers, since luckily they were right next to each other.

You were obviously, talking about Y/N, when they finally got fed up.

"Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier Marquis de Lafayette!" John Laurens says in an annoyed tone of voice.

You blink confusedly, wondering what you did wrong. 

"Y-yes?" you say in a scared tone.

"I'm sick and tired of you rambling on about Y/N, instead of doing something! So go do something about it!" he says while pushing you hard.

You didn't realize it yet, but he had pushed you into Y/N's direction. Your eyes widened as you awkwardly tried to regain balance.

You ended up having to plant both arms on her locker to keep balance as she looked up at you.

"Hi." Y/N says while looking up at you awkwardly.

"I..i uh.." you say as your face turns beet red.

"Hmm?" she says while tilting her head and smiling.

"You know what, I'm getting tired of watching this, so I'm just gonna say it. Y/N, Lafayette has a huge crush on you." John says while walking up to the two of you.

"John-" you say while looking at him.

"Nope. It had to be said." John says while smiling in satisfaction.

"You..you do?" Y/N asks while blushing.

 "Yes.. and I know you might not like me back, but I couldn't keep it from you anymore." you say while looking at her intensely.

She doesn't respond quickly, but continues to look at you. 

"I-" you start to say before she pulls your face to hers and kisses you.

You melt into the kiss as you move your body closer to hers. After a moment of bliss, Hercules brings you back to reality.

"Well done Laf." he says while smirking.
