i'm sorry but i won't be posting anything today, most likely tomorrow, it's just been a very confusing and scary day living in NYC.
In more explanation, NYC has terrible air quality this week, to the point where everyone has to wear face masks.
This is due to recent wildfires in Canada, and the dangerous air spreading to NYC, since Canada is right above us.
The sky has turned a yellowish-orange color, and the air smells like smoke, to the point where you can smell it through the mask.
Everyone during school was freaking out, which of course freaked me out, and most kids left early, and some were crying.
NYC right now has the worst air quality in the world right now. Our quality has reaches 200+, when the normal is below 80.
The bacteria and air particles can cause lung disease and other sickness if inhaled, especially in children and older people.
I've just needed some time to fully understand and comprehend the situation at hand, in hopes it gets much better.
If you live in NYC, Please please wear a mask, don't open windows, and stay safe. <3
