Beomgyu has noticed that since meeting Choi Yeonjun, time has moved incredibly fast.

He remembers the day they met like it was only yesterday, sitting in Blue Hour Café while the most confident, pink-haired boy saunters across the room towards him, having the audacity to wave at those around like some egotistical celebrity.

And though he depicts the scene like he hates Yeonjun, the words Beomgyu uses to describe his now-boyfriend carry nothing more than endearment.

It's hard to believe that today is the anniversary of the day they met, he almost doesn't, can't fathom how time has moved that quickly. He's sure it was only yesterday they were on their first trip together, the months have swept by.

Beomgyu actually didn't want to celebrate today, not because he isn't thankful for the fact a stupid app brought the boy into his life, but because of their initial meeting. Beomgyu was closed-off and rude, and he doesn't want Yeonjun to consider that their first meeting. He'd much rather prefer their first time at a restaurant together when he'd started to relax and Yeonjun started to grow on him.

Yeonjun insisted on it, though, arguing that their attitudes then and now show how much they've grown together-matured together.

So, here they sit in the place they met. A coffee sits in front of them both, black for Yeonjun, white for Beomgyu.

This time, the younger isn't practically overdosing on coffee from waiting on a late Yeonjun like he was at their first meeting. Instead, the cup is half-full, and his veins are content instead of itching with pent-up energy and annoyance.

Yeonjun hands him a card and a small gift, watching hopefully as Beomgyu glances up at him as he opens it.

The gift is two matching bracelets, one for each of them, but Yeonjun left them together so Beomgyu could choose which colour he wanted. He picks the silver and hands Yeonjun the gold, smiling as he fits it around his slim wrist.

The card is cute too, it has a silly little joke on the front which fits all too well with Yeonjun's personality, but inside there's a sweeter message for only Beomgyu's eyes.

Beomgyu smiles softly, emotion filling his throat which he coughs away before he looks up at Yeonjun and thanks him. The elder visibly relaxes, falling back in his seat and smiling. Beomgyu likes it, he has nothing to worry about.

Beomgyu hands him his gifts next, feeling a little silly they got each other gifts today but he thinks it's sweet at the same time.

Yeonjun opens the card first, eyes flitting over the words inside of it and a grin slowly growing on his face until the apples of his cheeks are happy and he tries to force a neutral expression before they ache. "You really are adorable," he says, eyeing Beomgyu before he reads the remainder of the card. Beomgyu's glad he's distracted by his written words otherwise he'd bask in the flush of his face.

"I know," Beomgyu counters to hide the effect those words will always have on him, shifting his gaze across the room when Yeonjun smirks at him.

Then Yeonjun opens his gift, fingers delicately unfolding the wrapping paper, unlike the way Beomgyu had ripped it.

It's nothing grand (according to Beomgyu, who's made sure not to go too over-the-top), they both had the same idea about going for jewellery but luckily Beomgyu had gotten Yeonjun a designer necklace.

Yeonjun's eyes widen as he holds it up and then lets the bottom of it fall into his other hand, admiring the pendant. "You shouldn't have, Beomgyu, it's too nice!" Yeonjun exclaims gratefully and Beomgyu chuckles as Yeonjun unclasps it to put it on.
