Ayato was getting real bored of paperwork, so he told Thoma he was going to take a walk. "Don't wait up, bro."
He had learned some new lingo from his good pal Itto recently. Thoma's face turned ashen and slightly mortified as Ayato strolled out the door, boba in hand.
He meandered down the path in Chinju forest, enjoying the luminescent flowers and the bothersome insects. Life was nice.
Before he could voice the thought out loud, he tripped over something solid in the path and fell over, but got up as gracefully as he did everything else, like forcefeed Thoma rat liver. "Bro, what was that?" he asked no one in particular.
That was, it seemed, someone he knew. "Oh, Sayu? Yo."
She gaped like a gapingly gaping frog and shook her head in denial. "No, no, sir- um, stranger. I am..." she paused for dramatic effect. "I am, um, your inner peace. Have you been opening your chakra lately?"
Ayato shook his head mournfully and went home to do so.
