The sun had set and darkness had set in.

"All set to go!"
Sanemi said courageously.

The three Hashiras were ready already.

"I will miss you all! Please be safe and have a wonderful journey. I hope your mission is successful."
Yukio smiled at them.

"Thank you!!! We will miss you too! I wish for your well-being!"
Mitsuri said.

"Then, shall we leave?"
Asked Sanemi.

"Yes, yes!"
Replied Mitsuri.

"Let's go then."
Sanemi, Giyuu and Mitsuri walked out.

Yukio waves a last goodbye to them, slowly putting his hand back.

"KYAAA!!! I seriously can't wait!!!"
Mitsuri squealed.

"Sigh... Shut it, Kanroji."
Sanemi said in an irritated tone.

"Okay, Fine!"
Mitsuri said and they walked, following Sanemi's Kasugai Crow.

"NEXT DESTINATION, A TOWN BEING HAUNTED BY DEMONS AT NIGHT! HURRY!"
The crow cawed.

A few hours pass.

It was the middle of the night.

"When will we reach?"
Mitsuri asked.

"Just a little bit more..."
Sanemi said.

The three kept walking, which seemed like they had been walking for days at this point.

"WE HAVE REACHED! WE HAVE REACHED!"
The crow cawed.

"Fucking finally!"
Sanemi said, his eyes shining.

They had finally reached the town, in the middle of the night.

Thousands of lamps lit on the sides of the road and in front of people's houses, with a lot of people walking here and there, talking and chatting. The sound of footsteps and chatter made it seem as if it was the middle of the day.

"This place is so crowded, demons must be coming here all the time."
Said Sanemi.

"I think so too!"
Mitsuri said.

Suddenly, loud cry somewhere in the crowd, caught the Hashira's attention.

"What was that noise...?"
Giyuu asked as he held his sword, ready to attack.

"Let's go guys!"
Mitsuri ran, followed by the Wind and Water Hashira.

"RUN! A DEMON!"
A lady screamed loudly. Everyone started running here and there.

"EVERYONE, PLEASE LEAVE. GO THAT WAY!"
Mitsuri shouted.

People believed her and ran away, leaving the Hashiras alone.

"Wait, where the fuck is the Demon!?"
Sanemi asked, totally pissed.

"I am here..."
A soft voice of a child was heard from behind.

The three turned back.

They saw a little kid, with a short stature standing silently behind them.

"A child!?"
Mitsuri exclaimed.

"I am Masato."

"You are dead!"
Sanemi replied with a dangerous smile.

Sanemi took a deep breath.

He then ran towards the boy, unleashing strong slashes. The boy dodged them all. And leapt up, high. He sat on a branch of a tree.

"To scared to come down, huh? Come on! Show me your power!"
Sanemi laughed.

"I am not scared."
The boy stared at the three.

Sanemi stopped laughing.

This kid... I don't like the way he talks...

"You sure know how to piss me off, don't you?"
Sanemi leapt up.

"This is your end, kid! Wind Breathing, First Form: Dust Whirlwind Cutter!"

He let out a deep, noisy breath.

Slash!

The head of the kid fell from a height, with a thud.

Blood spurted out its cut neck.

"It was that easy!?"
Mitsuri squealed.

"Well, it's not one of the Twelve Kizuki, so no doubt it was weak."
Giyuu said.

"So, job's done!"
Sanemi said.

But soon, a kid's voice was heard again.

"You killed him, but not me."

"There's another one!?"
Sanemi exclaimed.

"You haven't killed me either."
Another child walked in.

"You can't kill me, I'm strong!"
Another one emerged from behind.

In a minute, the place was filled with tiny demon kids and the three adult Hashiras.

"You won't kill me!"
"I am strong!"
"You killed Masato, but can you kill me?"

All the kids shouted, mocking the Hashiras, calling them names.

The children crowded the three and screeched, chatted, shouted and mocked them.

So fucking annoying!
Sanemi thought.

It all seemed like a crowded mess and chaos.

"I fucking hate kids!"
Sanemi said.

"PLEASE BE SILENT!"
Mitsuri shouted and the kids stopped, quiet.

"There's so many of them, we have to decapitate them all."
Said Giyuu.

"Yes, but there's literally a lot of them!"
Sanemi said.

"We need to just end them all. I know that this is not the main body, these are clones. The main body must be hiding somewhere. Because there's no way that this many demons would be in the same town..."
Giyuu said.

"Wow! You're very smart,
Tomioka-San!"
Mitsuri squealed.

"Come on, Let's end them instead of talking!"
Sanemi said angrily.

"Okay!"

The three held their swords.
And, Slash! The fight began.
