Perception, reputation and reality

Image, perception, reputation, first impressions, the way you present yourself, the way you carry yourself, morals, standards, upbringing, ethics, etiquette, principles, values, reality (in essence this all plays a part in what makes us who we are and who we gell with) (yes this is what people think about us) (I know this shouldn't be important and you shouldn't care about it. I mean, you have every right to be yourself like I'm here looking like a lunatic trying to be me and telling you about bullsh!t I did or my opinions which could make me look insane but hey here we are... I'm going off topic again sorry about that) anyway these things are important cause even if we say they don't affect us you gotta take in the reality that unless you are like me... an introvert (I can survive without social interaction) but if not then yeah, as a socially interactive person this will greatly affect you I mean, it affects me too just not as much.

I know people don't think of us I mean, unless you're famous then there are those few people who care. Most people are only thinking about themselves in this human rat race we call life (that I really don't want to participate in). So yeah we are running a marathon (not me though, I hate competitions).

Anyway moving on... about why the things I mentioned now are seen as important... (from my perspective and in my opinion which you don't have to listen to cause I'm saying this mainly for me and to get what has been eating at my brain off my chest)

This is important cause how people view us can make or break us. It is true we are not the main character, perhaps we are the npc or the side character or maybe we are just the extras but how we are seen by others does in essence end up playing a role in our life. For example... how we are perceived online. If someone wanted to employ me... just giving an example... they most likely wouldn't if I was being honest with you cause just look at my profile... I look like a nut case. (This was my attempt at bad humour and you bet I just intentionally killed my own bad joke (although deep down I feel it is slightly true :D)).

So basically all this... image, perception, reputation, first impressions, the way you present yourself, the way you carry yourself, morals, standards, upbringing, ethics, etiquette, principles, values, reality... all does play a part in our life. The way we are perceived by other people, our reputation, our image etc if you have a bad reputation odds are people won't be so keen on engaging with you (I mean... in communication) and based on what the reputation is you will be known for that so... if you are a Minecraft hoe in the chest (this is a joke I'm not shaming any hoes you may have in your inventory) you will always be regarded as such by the individuals who know you for having this kind of reputation and thus this is how you will be perceived by said individuals who you are close to. This includes your friend circle and significant other etc. But if you don't care for how your boss, partner, mother, father, teachers, acquaintances, best friend, friends etc view you, you have nothing to fear.

Your morals, standards, upbringing, ethics, etiquette, principles, values... this is what makes you gell with people I find that I am more drawn to people who are similar to me, share similar views, like similar things, have things in common, can relate with how I was brought up, share the same kind of morals, family values etc. My family raised me old school so I would like to follow in that path. This I suppose makes me kind of snobbish but it just is somehow like this. Don't get me wrong it isn't like I won't talk to others just cause we don't have the same views it's just that I feel more comfortable with people who can relate to me.

Anyway I'll post more on this subject later when I give it more thought cause my brain is going blank. This is just my opinion... not giving anyone advice and also I just felt like saying this... so yeah love it or hate it I don't really care I'm just giving my perception on how I view reality.

This doesn't have to matter... if it doesn't affect you it doesn't affect you...
