After the recent news of NCT'S Mark announcing his relationship with a childhood friend, fans couldn't contain their curiosity about the girl's identity. SM Entertainment originally wanted to keep her anonymous, but it seemed they have failed...
Yesterday afternoon, a picture surfaced on Twitter in which Mark can be seen as a kid together with a girl his age. Fans suspected this must be the "childhood friend" he is now dating, and an inside source who knows the girl took to Twitter to confirm her identity. The girl's name is Choi Gyuri, and the childhood pictures on her Instagram profile (@/mckgyuri) indicate that she is, in fact, the girl in the picture that went viral yesterday.
The girl's socials exploded after the news, with hundreds of thousands of followers and huge amounts of comments but there is yet to be heard from her. Mark himself hasn't said anything about the situation either, nor has SM Entertainment.
