What to Expect When Expecting in an Omegaverse: Changlix/Hyunlix

Minor Meltdown.

Living with Hyunjin is best described as, easy. He's tidy and quiet, and he's always being considerate of Felix's privacy and space. He rarely has company, and when he does it's just Seungmin or an alpha named Jeongin. The alpha seems nice enough and he never bothers Felix, he just nods his head at him in greeting and continues with what he was doing. Felix thinks that Hyunjin must like him, if the way he dotes on the younger means anything.

As for Changbin, he and Felix's relationship is once again on the up and up. The alpha has moved into his new apartment that's close to his work, like he'd wanted, and he and Felix text often.

Binnie (8:45AM): GOOD MORNING to my baby's warm incubator ^^

Binnie (8:46AM): Idk if you're up but Jisung is annoying me again

Lix (8:52AM): I'm up but please don't call me an incubator again. It makes me feel sad. I AM A FATHER ㅠㅠ

Felix is eighteen weeks and two days pregnant. His baby is approximately the size of a bell pepper! His most recent list of symptoms are a heightened sense of smell, his nipples having almost doubled in size and darkening from their light pink to brown, and he hasn't pooped in two weeks. Other than the constipation, Felix really enjoys the feeling of being pregnant. It's just everyone else that makes it unbearable.

"Yongbok, I just don't understand. You are 8,000 kilometers away from your family and you don't seem to care! You need your family's support." Felix's mother is like a broken record. Every conversation it's the same thing.

"No, Eomma. Please stop bringing this up. I just want to talk to you about anything else. I miss you." He tries to stay cool and collected despite the frustration that builds in him at the mention of moving back to Australia for the umpteenth time.

"If you miss me, you would come home. You don't even visit," she reasons unreasonably, "You need to leave Seo Changbin alone and come here. He's done enough-"

"Eomma, please. This isn't all about hyung, my life is here too. I'm almost finished with school and I've made so many friends. I literally just signed a lease. I'm finally getting on track" Felix explains, his tone almost bordering desperate.

"You're so unfair, Yongbok. You're taking away my chance to be a grandmother and that's not fair" she almost sounds like a child and it's infuriating, so much so, that Felix has to take a deep breath before replying.

"I don't want to talk about this anymore. If you insist on discussing this, then I have to go." He sets his boundary and internally waits for her to cross it, but she just doesn't respond. "Okay. I'll talk to you later." He takes the silence as her refusing to respect his boundary and he hangs up.

As soon as the line clicks off, his lip is quivering and his eyes fill with tears. A sob rips through him and fat tears drop down his cheeks. He's so upset, he doesn't know what to do. He can't help but feel guilty and shameful. He'd always been an obedient child, he never argued with his parents, he always tried his best to make them proud, but now, it's like choosing between himself and them. He feels selfish for choosing himself.

"Jinnie?" Felix calls loudly for his roommate, "Hyunjin?" he tries again, and it only takes a beat before the black-haired man appears at Felix's bedroom door.
