I was anxiously waiting in my seat for someone to sit next to me on the bus. I was about to fall asleep, when I heard a small hush and the doors open. I looked up to see a beautiful girl look around at everyone on the bus. Her eyes were sparkly and her hair was flowing in the wind. I blushed from embarrasment when she caught me staring.

I looked down and immediately felt a sharp pain on my right cheek. The blue boy from the back of the bus threw a paper airplane at my face. I began to look down again and my eyes started to water as I covered the cut on my cheek and started to cry, when the girl came and sat next to me. I held in my tears as she asked me about the cut and if she could put a bandaid on it. I wasn't exactly listening, I was so focused on her eyes, that I just nodded. She then put the bandaid on my face, and I couldn't help but blush.
"My name is Y/F/N Y/L/N! Nice to meet you!" She said sweetly and held out her hand.
"I-" she didn't seem to hear me at first. "Melanie." I finally got out.
"Hmmm?" She didn't hear again.
"My Name is Melanie. Melanie Martinez. And thank you for the bandaid y/n." I said in a louder tone, and shook her hand. I felt a buzz when our hands touched. I could tell we were going to be friends. I could see in the reflection of the bus window that the bandaid was pink and purple, with cupcakes on it.
"It's so cute!" I thought in my head. I was feeling better already. I wouldn't want to be sitting next to anyone else.
"No problem! What did the note say?" She asked. I unwrinkled the paper and handed it to her. The note read "Gap toothed bitch." I felt my cheeks warm up and go red as my eyes stung with water.
"I can't cry now, I've already cried enough today." I thought as a tear fell down my cheek. I covered my face with my hands and was about to cry as everyone on the bus was mocking me.
"Shut up!"
I heard a girl say from the back of the bus. She somehow got everyone to be quiet and stop paying attention as her eyes flickered black. I was surprised, but just then Y/N turned me to look at her, and wiped the tears off of my face.
"Don't listen to them. They only torment you because they hate themselves." She spoke. I immediately hugged her and began to cry, as always.
"I'm sorry for being a crybaby." I managed to choke out through my tears. She patted my head and moved my hair from my face.
"Having the capacity to feel and express emotion are one of the many quality's that make you, you. And I think you're very very charming and sweet. So don't worry about them, okay?" She smiled. I pulled away from her soft hand, as I was very very shocked and flattered.
"Thank you Y/N." I smiled back.
After that she started to ask me questions about myself and my life, aswell as little silly questions like, "What's your favorite colour?" We both said green, how coincidental!
Then, the girl from the back came and sat next to us, the same one whos eyes flickered back.
"Hi! I'm Celeste! Nice to meet you ladies!" She said.
"Hi! My name is Y/N. Nice to meet you Celeste!" She then shook my hand and questioned,
"And you?" I looked into her eyes and spoke, "My Name is Melanie! Nice to meet you!" We all smiled at each other and talked for another hour.

When we had nothing left to talk about, Y/N rested her head on the cold autumn window, and fell asleep. She was so peaceful, I couldn't help but stare. I fell asleep for a little while and found myself asleep on her shoulder when I awoke.
