Chapter Fifty Four: Unexpected
Wala talagang nangyari pagkatapos na'ming kumain.
We talked a lot, and I was okay with it. It's not like I'm in heat or something, but I did feel like I want more from our kiss.
Okay ako, as long as may time kami para isa't-isa, normal lang naman yun sa magkarelasyon.
Pero ang hindi normal ay yung nilalayuan ka ng boyfriend mo.
Ever since that night, he's been avoiding me... in some way. Of course kumakain pa rin kaming dalawa na magkasama since magkapitbahay lang naman kami dito sa building.
But he wouldn't hold my hand. He even took his hand away from the table when our hands accidentally touched.
Hindi niya rin ako tinitingnan, 'di niya rin ako kinausap tungkol sa gabing yo'n.
And the worst? He doesn't even want to kiss me! Not even a kiss on the cheek, or my hands just like he usually does.
Akala ko nababaliw ako, pero I was right.
Something is off. Something is off with Alexander ever since that night.
'Di tuloy ako makatulog, it's been four days since that night and it's so fucking frustrating.
May nagawa ba 'kong masama?
Was I not a good kisser?
Did I made him uncomfortable?
"Alexander."
"Hm?"
"Did I made you uncomfortable th--"
"Here! I'm done cooking! Sure ako na gutom ka na rin!"
And this happens too.
He's avoiding the conversation. I am worried and frustrated. Para bang ayaw niyang pagusapan yung nangyari nung gabing yo'n.
I also want to ask if I made him uncomfortable and other more questions I had inside my head.
Nababaliw na 'ko, nababaliw na talaga ako.
"Shet." mura ko sa tabi ni Silas.
Napunta tuloy sa'kin ang atensyon ni Silas, he was checking the menu sa TV, I noticed how surprised he must have been pero wala na 'kong pake.
Wala na talaga.
"Seems like you have a hard day today, huh?"
"You mean four days? Ugh..."
Silas bought us some drinks, nilibre niya kami.
Lagi namang si Silas ang nanlilibre sa'min noon pero ngayon na may sari sarili na kaming mga trabaho, of course nanlilibre na rin kami.
But for today, Silas is the one paying for everything.
I decided to get some Iced Matcha, umupo ako sa tabi ni Silas while Yael, Jaxon, and Ryland are sitting across us.
"Asan si Brent?" tanong ni Silas sa tabi ko.
"Girlfriend niya."
Girlfriend?
Silas spit and choked on his own drink from the surprise, kahit ako nagulat, may girlfriend na si Brent?
