Taylor smiled to the sound of cheers from the crowd, and let the microphone down. Looking around, she blinked and looked all over the stadium.

"Thank you so much! Wow..." She said, and shook her head a bit. She had done this for almost twenty years, yet these 'I made it' moments would never fail to make her feel incredible. And as she deserved it. "For this next song, I will have a surprise guest!" Taylor spoke, and the crowd became quieter.

"She has been my girlfriend for two years and she finally is going to join me in singing this song. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Y/N L/N!"

I walked up to the stage and the next thing I knew was standing next to her, with thousands of eyes on me. "Isn't she beautiful?" Taylor asked, making me blush. Lover started playing, and the crowd cheered.

"You've got this. I am here." Taylor whispered, and I nodded. It was time to do what we had done countless times in the living room on stage. It was just tens of thousands of eyes on us this time. But with Taylor by my side, I knew I could do it.

"We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January. And this is our place, we make the rules..." Taylor started singing, and I got flashbacks to all the memories this song brought me. As the song continued, I swung a bit around just like she liked when we were in the living room. She smiled at me, and I felt my heart flutter as it always did when her eyes met mine.

"Can I go where you go?" She sang, with me joining in with her.

"Can we always be this close forever and ever? And ah, take me out, and take me home. You're my, my, my, my..." We sang together, and I let the microphone down for a moment.

"Lover."

Taylor put the microphone off the stand and turned to me, so we looked right at each other. "We could let our friends crash in the living room." I sang, trying to make the nerves go away.

"This is our place, we make the rules." I sang, and turned to look in the direction of the cameras. "And I'm highly suspicious that everyone who sees you wants you." I sang, and smiled widely. Because they really did.

As we sang the chorus again later together, I felt the nerves go away. Taylor took my hand and started on one of her favorite bridge sof all time. It also happened to be one of my favorites.

"Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand? With every guitar string scar on my hand." She sang, and looked to her left at me.

"I take this magnetic force of a woman to be my lover!"

As the rest of the song went by, I forgot about the fact that it wasn't just the two of us here. I forgot about everything else happening but her presence beside me. I was so lost at the lovely sight of her singing what I joked about being our 'national anthem' that I didn't wake up until the sound of cheers filled my ears. I looked away from Taylor, and at the people in the stadium. I smiled and bowed.

The place of the stage we stood on went down, and just when we got under the stage she put a hand softly on my cheek and leaned us both in for a sweet kiss.
