788.Understanding and mature

Grabbing her hand, Misan panicked, "I-I wanted to tell you before but—"

Cutting her off, Somi said, "You don't have to say anything Misan, I understand that things like this can be very sensitive and it's nice to keep them private at times."

"What? You aren't mad?" Misan frowned.

Vigorously shaking her head, she answered, "No, why would I be mad at you? I mean, I understand the reason behind keeping your relationship with brother Seojun away from everyone. Everything thinks that brother Seojun treats you like his own sister so the whole you both being in a relationship will just blow up everything and you'll have a hard time explaining everyone the truth."

"But—"

Placing her hand on her shoulder, Somi added, "And we are best friends right? If I won't understand the reason behind your actions then who will?"

"So are you saying that you don't have any problem with this whole me hiding my relationship with Seojun from you? Are you not mad because I kept such a big thing away from you?" Misan curiously inquired.

Shrugging her shoulders, Somi vigorously shook her head. "No I am not and like I said, if I don't understand then who will, right?"

She then quickly gave Misan a hug and smiled, "I am very happy for you and of course for brother Seojun, don't worry about anything, I wont say a word. This will be our secret, bestfriends secret."

Without waiting for her reply, Somi rushed towards the mansion.

Raising his brows, Seojun chuckled, "Wow, Somi is much more mature and understanding than I thought she was."

"No she is not, I am sure that she is hiding something," Misan snapped.

"What? Why would you say that? I mean can't she be a good understanding best friend? It's not good to judge your friends honey."

"I grew up with this girl Seojun, I know how her whole system works. Somi is not someone who would forgive her best friend so easily after discovering that she was lying to her." Pursing her lips, she frowned, "I just don't know what."

Wrapping her arms around her waist, he sighed, "I think you are just overthinking honey, why would Somi hide anything from you?"

"Even I thought that I would never hide anything from my best friend's but I did, maybe it's the same for her."

Jeon mansion.

"Ah look who is here? It's our blue moon," Zixin chuckled.

Sitting beside Jiyun, Seojun chuckled, "I am a bit busy these days."

"Busy with work or busy spending quality time with your better half?" Yuqi teased.

"So are you going to tell us on your own pr do we need to expose you?" Jiyun inquired.

Jeonsan frowned and asked, "What expose?"

Looking at Yuqi and Jiyun's grinning faces, Seojun chuckled, "No one can hide anything from you two."

"Okay, you guys know something that Jeonsan and I don't."

Awkwardly rubbing his chin, Seojun confessed, "I have been dating Misan for almost five months now."

Widening her eyes in shock, Yuqi yelped, "Five months?"

"And here I thought that it had just been a few weeks or a month max," Jiyun chuckled.

Patting his shoulder, Jeonsan grinned, "Dude, finally I am so happy for you."

"Okay so a twenty- seven year old Seojun dating a twenty-five year old Misan is okay but Hwan dating Somi isn't? What kind of logic is this?" Zixin chuckled.

Raising his brows, Seojun curiously inquired, "What do you mean? I mean the whole Hwan and Somi thing?"

"Oh it's nothing, Zixin, Yuqi and I are very sure there is something going on between Somi and Hwan but Jeonsan is very narrow minded to accept the whole his sister dating Hwan thing," Jiyun explained.

"Ahh so Hwan is dating Somi? Now that is interesting," Seojun chuckled.

"Now you tell me Seojun, do you support this whole Somi dating thing?" Jeonsan snapped.

"I see nothing wrong in that but well, you are the brother so I am sure that you have your reasons." Getting up, Seojun added, "Alright, I'll go find Misan and please don't tell anyone about us okay? It's still a secret."

After he left, Zixin chuckled, "Am I the only one who is excited to see how uncle Yoongi will kick Seojun's ass when he finds out?"

"Ah no, you aren't the only one," Jiyun grinned.

"Wait, are you trying to tell me that my brother is dating Somi?" When Seojun nodded his head, Misan frowned, "I think it's a misunderstanding, how can Hwan and Somi date? I mean aren't they like—"

Cutting her off, he said, "Like brother and sister? Uh huh but honey, everyone thought that we were like that too and you even called me brother Seojun which was very weird."

"But—" Misan was having a really hard time placing her brother and Somi together. She very well remembered how Hwan referred to Somi and Becca as his sister once.

"Look maybe this is why Somi was behaving so weirdly. I think she was already guilty for hiding her relationship with Hwan from you so when she found out about us, she did not react the way she should've," he explained.

What Seojun said did make sense but she couldn't believe that her brother who had never shown any kind of interest in women or relationships was dating her best friend. "We need to find out."

"Can't you just go and ask Somi directly? I mean she is your best friend so—"

Cutting her off, she snapped, "No, she kept things away from me and I am not happy with that. In fact, my brother and best friend have been lying to me together, I feel double betrayed here."

"But you kept things away from them too honey, I think you are even now."

"No we are not even, in fact, we are nowhere near even. Now all I have to do is come up with a nice way to deal with this matter."
