𝐈 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝟐 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧. I woke up in bed next to Jeremiah and woke him up to say goodbye. We hugged for a couple minutes and he whispered reassurances to me as I held him closer. I eventually packed up my car with my bags and left for the beach town.

I got to my house and was welcomed with an empty fridge, dust, and no bedding. I started a load of laundry with my sheets and bedding and then texted Nicole.

"KENDALL," I heard Nicole yell as she burst through the front door. 

"NICOLE," I yelled back and we both laughed and then were immediately hugging and rocking back and forth. 

"Fuck college," she said and I grinned at her.

"I agree," I stated and squeezed her tighter.

"You'll be there with me next year though," Nicole said and I froze.

"What?" excitement coursed through me and I looked at her again. "Wait- you didn't-"

"I transferred to Yale," she finished my sentence and I pulled her back into a hug before I hit her shoulder.
