"What are you doing?" Kurama demands as narrowly she evades all of Haku's attacks. But winced when a needle cut her cheek "You can't keep playing defense forever, you must go back into offense, you can KILL him, he's weaker than you"

"I know he is but I'm still waiting for Sasuke" Naruko leaped on a branch and jumped forward, pretending to attack Haku but doesn't do anything when the boy sends senbon needles to her body. She crawls to a ball and rolls, sluggishly standing up and wiping the blood from her mouth, she still managed a little determined smile

"What the hell are you planning? Do you want the brat to see you like this?"

"Yes, that's EXACTLY what I'm planning, imagine the psychological effect it would have on Sasuke to see me covered head to toe in needles, bleeding out?" She can already see Sasuke's horrified and rage filled expression. "You're cruel" Kurama chuckles

"But it's necessary for my plan" Naruko insisted. She pulls out a few of the needles and runs toward Haku again, summoning shadow clones around her

Haku narrowed his eyes. She just didn't know when to quit did she? How admirable. But he needs to end this now

He did a hand sign. "Hidden jutsu...Makyou Hyoushou!". Naruko narrowed her eyes when she heard that. Suddenly ice mirrors formed around Naruko trapping her

"NARUKO!" Kakashi and Tazuna both screamed, causing Zabuza to chuckle darkly. Kakashi looked at the jutsu, his heart pounding in his chest, completely worried and anxious but he knew he couldn't show it.

Haku entered one of the mirrors. Naruko gritted her teeth.

Kakashi ran toward the dome but was stopped when Zabuza suddenly appeared right in front of him. "If you enter this fight, you fight me" he said

Sasuke ran to the bridge as fast as he could, his heart and mind filled with worry for his comrades. He knew Kakashi and Naruko can fight very well, and Sakura could have hidden somewhere, but this didn't stop his anxiety from growing

"If anything happens to Naruko" he thought, thinking about her teasing smile. He shook his head to clear off any distracting thoughts, he needed to focus, but he couldn't help his torrent of emotions, there was a storm inside of him, his fear of the thought of losing Naruko, his anxiety

What if he loses his new family? Naruko said they had a bond, she called him her brother.

"I promise you, if you give up and leave right this very moment, I'll allow you to live" Haku said sadly. Naruko scoffed "As if!" she painfully pulls off seven more needles from her body. "Come out and fight you bastard!"

"Naruko!" Kakashi shouted from outside the dome, his worry increasing with every second that passes.

"I'm fine Kakashi-sensei!" Naruko reassured from inside, unsure whether her voice can be heard. She screamed in pain, as she was being cut over and over by senbons with unbelievable speed.

"The Uchiha's taking too long! Do something!" Kurama growled. "No! He'll be here soon!" she insisted.

Soon the attacks stopped and Naruko fell to the ground, body littered in senbons. "You won't last another minute" Haku said, sounding pitiful, Naruko growled and glared at him "Fu-"
