Chapter - 58

Recap: Goutham and Mithra clear of their guilt and celebrate their one month anniversary. Kavitha convince Raghuvaran to stop the wedding alliance from his friend.

Mithra took breathes to calm her excitement and immediately called Vinay and turned on the speaker. Both Goutham and Mithra listened to Vinay as he explained Kavitha's acts to stop the alliance. Mithra thanked Vinay and cut the call.

Mithra: I think I should do my part though they have already decided. Let me get back to home and talk to my mother about convincing your father in law and you be a good boy and get back to office.

Goutham: I wish we could stay for some more time but I understand that meeting your mother is more important at this time so I will let you go. 

Mithra: Good, I will probably have a talk with your father in law this sunday and if things escalate you need to come over and we will fight him together.

Goutham: How bad you are Mrs. Goutham ? Your mom accepted us so she is your mother but your father may or may not accept us so he is my father in law ?

Mithra: Ofcourse, he is hard nut to crack. I m relying on mother sorry your mother in law for support but I will make a clear stand so don't worry. I m worried about your first meet with him.

Goutham: I m waiting for that day because that will be the day I will take you with me forever. I will not let you go from me even for a minute.

Mithra: What if I need to bath then ?

Goutham: Don't worry darling I will bath you happily.

Mithra: Let me leave before we get started with something else. Bye see you tomorrow at office.

She picked her handbag and ran out of the room but Goutham called her bringing her to an abrupt stop.

Goutham: Remove the toe ring or you will have to convince father today instead of sunday.

Mithra facepalmed and removed the ring and placed in his palms and rushed out giving him a kiss on his cheeks.

On the way she saw a temple and informed the driver to stop the car. She got down and entered inside to offer the prayer. Once she finished praying the deity the priest gave her the vermillion and holy ash. Mithra moved to corner and applied the vermillion to her nuptial pendant. Right at the moment she heard someone calling her and she got startled and turned to the voice forgetting about the nuptial pendant on her chest.

She came face to a very familiar person, professor Saravanan from her college and smiled at him.

Mithra: Hello sir, how are you ?

Saravanan: Hello Mithra, I m fine. This is my wife and how are you ?

Mithra: I m doing very good sir. Thank you.

Saravanan: I m so happy to see you after so many years and its good I got to meet you. My daughter is getting married this sunday and I want your presence.

He took an invitation and passed it to Mithra and she received it happily.

Saravanan's wife: Is your husband here ?

Only then Mithra saw the nuptial pendant and Saravana too notice it after his wife mentioned about it.

Mithra: No, he is at work and I came here on my way to office.

Saravana: What is your husband's name ?

Mithra: hmmm, Goutham

Saravanan: Congrats my child. God, I knew that brat will marry you. He was like obsessed with you. I still remember his face that day at hospital when you were unconscious. He roared like a badass ready to rip anyone's head until the doctor confirmed you were doing good.
