I sat down in my father's front seat, after just getting my hair, lashes, wax, and nails done. I had finished my exams and he was treating me like he had promised.
Being an only child to two hard-working parents is fun. All you gotta do is be respectful and do your schoolwork and they"all spend their money on you as long as they have it.

My phone pinged and I opened it to check the message.
It was a text from my man telling me that I was pretty after I sent him a picture of my face and hair.

"You Neva did a go up this year Dandan?" my father asked.

"Yuh mother did say yuh naah go anywhere until results come out," he responded.
"Results naah come out until the 24 of August Daddy," I told him. "Wah mi must do go a farrin September when me must deh start College."
