"Oh… I…" She was confounded. Stuttering a bit, she scratched the back of her head, "I…I j..just had to te.." she closed her eyes for a moment, "I'm sorry to barge in like this but you need to move right now. An army of mercenaries have moved here. I understand you're busy and were probably going to..you know… but…" She explained with her eyes closed.

"No no no… You've got the wrong idea. Listen." Shakra almost pushed Valli off him and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Really? I just saw you kiss her. Isn't that a sign that you are going to do the dirty without being married in the first place?" She asked him.

"I didn't kiss her. She kissed me."

Mayurakshi rolled her eyes, "Yuvraj, they're the same thing. Tree touched the floor or the floor touched the tree. Same thing."

"No, bangaram, no. It's like this. I love you but you don't love me." Shakra tried to explain.

Valli stood up and watched this girl. Thinking for a moment, she recognised her as Rajkumari Yuvika's sister. The girl Yuvika constantly complained about every Princess gathering they have. That's why the girl hardly has any Princesses as her friends.

"Interesting. You play with me. I'll play with you, Yuvraj. Let me see you manage this." Valli whispered in his ears with a cheeky grin and winked at him. She then walked out in a confident tigress stride.

Shakra sighed.

"I'll give you some space…" Mayurakshi was about to leave but he grabbed her arm and stopped her.

"No. I don't need any space from your side, Rajkumari."

"Oh the two days space you had and you're kissing Princesses."

He grabbed her by her waist with a grin, "Is it making you jealous?"

"Jealous?" Mayurakshi laughed, "On the contrary, I think it is a great idea to give you more space. Because space is finally letting you know that there are many other fishes out there."

Shakra sighed. "I ran around you like a mad man for 7 years and you still think I will ever like any other girl but you. How much of those 7 years have I been away from you due to wars?"

"Come on. Look at her. She is pretty. Rajkumari Valli is quite famous among men. Let me tell you that if you haven't already heard." She pointed to Valli.

"She's Valli but she isn't you. What I want is you." He said. "If you don't have any affection for me then why did you come running thinking I'm in danger."

"Oh, on the contrary, Yuvraj. I have affection but affection can't translate to romantic love, right? You have affection for Amartya but that isn't romantic love. See the difference. This is the same." She moved her finger from her to him.

Shakra grabbed her waist a little tighter and breathed her scent. Especially after that fantasy of his was disturbed by Karma, he felt more crazy. He sighed loudly.

"I'm so drawn to you, woman. You fill my dreams, my fantasies, and my heart."

"Dreams and fantasies can be helped by asking Amma Kalika. About the heart, I know just the right medicine that can clear the heart blocks." She suggested.

"Another easy solution would be for you to marry me."

She chuckled, "You're good at joking, you know that?"

Shakra sighed. She had an incredible talent for somehow cutting down his flirtations and being extremely cool about it.

"You know I'm not joking about it."

"Yuvraj, you do realise that my sister is very interested in Yuvrani's position, right? I just wonder how annoyed she would get hearing of Rajkumari Valli really in close competition." She put a finger on her chin and thought, "If have to bet, I think Rajkumari Valli is a great fit. Even if it kind of hurts Yuvika Akka, she isn't exactly cut out to handle you. While Rajkumari Valli…" she grinned and looked at him, "she is like a strong copy of you. Like perfect fit. You're stubborn. She's stubborn. You're shrew, she is shrewd. Or at least she can be when she wants to."

Shakra sighed and laid back on the bed.

Mayurakshi suddenly grabbed him, "You're distracting me. We need to leave now. They will be here any moment!!" She tried to get him up.
He grabbed her, pulled her over him enough for her to fall on him and flipped her around so she was captured within his grasp.

"Bangaram, I can give away so much to get you right here.”

“You have a band of assassins on your back. Can you focus a little?"

"With you around? Not at all. They will be handled by Karma. She is more than capable of tearing them apart."

Shakra pushed his face into the nape of her neck. His breathing got heavier but she had no difference in her.

Unaffected as always. She was so soft. He could spend ages there and still never have enough of her.

A part of him almost thought to kiss her just to see if she would react.
He tugged on her voni softly but before he could take it off completely, Shakra heard Karma. "Yuvraj should want to deal with the assassins first."

Shakra sighed loudly. "Why, Karma? Why are you so against me having my little moments of pleasure?"

"Because she is smart and can hold the important matter at greater priority." Mayura answered.

Shakra got up, sighed, a bit irritated. He snatched the knife from Karma's hands and walked out.

"We should follow him. He is going to be stupid enough to go and meet them."

Karma chuckled and helped her fix her voni. "Yuvraj can handle them alone. He's the hunter that loves his hunting game. It will blow off some steam."

"But does he really not like Rajkumari Valli? I've heard she's a lot like him."
Karma thought for a moment. Women are proud. They will never admit anything affecting them. Especially not like Mayurakshi that too about Shakrajit. Karma sometimes doubted her. The girl was too unaffected by the close distance for her reaction to be real at all. Karma doubted that Mayurakshi trained herself to stay unaffected on the outside.

Or else it seemed fishy that she didn’t scream bloody murder at the position Shakra caught her in. Any girl would have either shouted and screamed or at least be extremely scared.
