The information that was provided by Mayura was something that came as a great advantage to the Kalika Empire. Shakra was quick to provide his support to the people who wanted to overthrow the current royal family and become the rulers themselves. A group of people had come together and decided to create a synarchy. Essentially, the Kalika Empire and a few other specific people from Rayapuram were unofficially making the decisions of the state. On the outside, one family ruler was shown as the head of the people, but behind the curtains, Shatrujit, Shakra, and a few others from Rayapuram were running the whole kingdom.

The information that they received quickly sparked a coup against the ruling family of Rayapuram. The royal family was forced to flee to different places, and the new ruling family quickly took their place by virtue of the support that was generated within the court. It wasn't a huge secret that Shakra specialized in toppling the government by slowly inserting his people in their courts or buying people through money.

As the news of the sudden coup in Rayapuram spread through the whole of the continent, Mayurakshi saw Yuvika enter the study.

"You..." she accused.

"Me, what?"

"You did all this. You have brought such misery to Amma."

Mayurakshi puts the papers on the table and stands up. "Yes."

"After everything she has done for you, this is how to thank her."

"Oh!! Do refresh my mind on what your Amma has done for me, except make my life miserable?"

"She took you in after you were abandoned by your mother. She let you stay in Krishneri and tolerated all of your foolish antics. She had you educated."

Mayurakshi laughed at the silliness of her sister's comments. "My Amma never abandoned me. I left her in the futile hope of getting my father's love. She didn't let me stay in Krishneri out of the goodness of her heart. She was aware that Gurudev wouldn't let her throw me out. If she did, he would have himself come to Krishneri and remind Nana about him being a father. She didn't want her place to be shaken up by Gurudev. She never tolerated any foolishness on my part. I have suffered every single punishment she laid out when I acted out. My childhood was gone before I could understand what it meant to be a child. It was never the same for you and me. You learned things by laughing and playing. I learned to cry in pain and turn myself into a stone. I had everyone who loved me pushed away from my life. She didn't educate me out of her goodness. She had to educate me because she couldn't marry me off to whoever she wanted unless I was educated."

"You married the man I loved!!!"

"I married the man who is in love with me. I married the man who has always belonged to me."

"Such shamelessness is there in you."

"If you want to talk about shamelessness, then I should start with what your mother did to my mother during the celebrations. She insulted my mother and grandfather in front of everyone."

"That bitch deserved it. She tried to snatch my father from my mother."

Mayurakshi's eyes blazed with fire. "You talk as if he is a toy that belongs to someone. If your father was so much into your mother, then why did he go to Malaisagara asking for my mother? Why did he threaten to destroy Malaisagara for refusing to accept the marriage proposal? The Maharaj of Krishneri couldn't take a no from my grandfather and lost his mind. If he belonged to your mother, then why did he claim to love my mother?"

"She seduced him."

Mayurakshi laughed at the preposterous idea. "That just shows that you don't even want to think. You live in your own world, where nothing other than what you say can occur. I'm surprised you are so convinced that anyone can seduce away the man who claims to be in love. If you were so confident that Yuvraj had loved you, then how did he so easily get seduced by another woman? Did you forget what almost happened to you that night when you threatened me? Yuvraj had your throat in his hands and would have choked you to death back then for just threatening me. That is what a man would do when he was in love. He would have killed you even if he was drunk and mistaking you for me. After that how can you still be in that dreamland thinking he ever had interest in you? Did he ever even come talk to you on his own without there being a reason?"
