Author's Note: Though this is technically a sequel to Blood-Bound, Blood-Touched, Blood-Ties, and Blood-Power it CAN be read as a standalone! Enjoy this little Anakin-Obi-Wan-centric vampire chaos! :D

Also, this is for the Obikin 2023 bingo. :)

~ Amina Gila

In one universe, after being bitten by Echo, Anakin falls to the vampire side instead of joining Sidious. After Order 66, when on a mission with Obi-Wan, an injured Anakin is forced to confront his desire to turn his former master.

He's throbbing in more places than he cares to count. The explosion was – it was bad. They'd walked into a trap, and Anakin had reacted only fast enough to tackle Obi-Wan out of the way when everything blew up. Literally, unfortunately. So much for a successful mission against the nearby Imperial base. They came on foot to stay out of sight, and they have no way of getting back to Ahsoka safely right now.

Anakin had walked away from... everything, along with all of his boys to keep them safe, right before the Republic fell. Most of the Jedi were lost when the Empire formed, but Obi-Wan survived. He came to find Anakin where he was hiding on Naboo, and now –

"Anakin," Obi-Wan is saying, and Anakin feels the grip on his shoulder, warm and grounding. "Anakin!"

Really. As if an explosion or much of anything can kill him. Anakin shifts a little, hissing faintly at the pain flaring through him. If Obi-Wan was a vampire too, he wouldn't have reason to be so worried. Wouldn't have nearly gotten them both killed. If –

He's close, and Anakin's hunger is burning at an all-time high right now. He hasn't been this hungry, this drawn to blood, since Echo first bit and turned him on Kamino. Echo had been there then, as had the rest of his squad, and they helped Anakin through his turn. It... was hard, especially when his arm regrew, but it was worth it. He's been able to save so many, and after the Empire formed, it's – it helped.

Obi-Wan is the only Jedi who knows about it to Anakin's knowledge, except Ahsoka, of course. Anakin told him, and Obi Wan had already figured some of it out by then. Obi-Wan hadn't been very fond of it, and he didn't want to be turned. Anakin hadn't pressured, no matter how desperately he wishes he could have the same familiarity and closeness with his former master that he and the boys have.

If one of the boys were here, he'd already be feeding on them, because they do it all the time. They bite him, too, sometimes before battle, since Anakin's blood gives them a power boost which makes them even stronger.

Wait, is Obi-Wan talking? Anakin genuinely has no idea. He thinks so, but all his brain can think of right now is staring at him, feeling the alluring sound of his heartbeat and the promise of food. Obi-Wan is his master, and he always brings the promise of safety. Of comfort, and –

Okay, he feels a little bit bad about wanting to feed on Obi-Wan so badly, but he does. The pull to Force-sensitives is stronger than normal people, especially those who are already family.

His master awkwardly offers his arm, and Anakin blinks at it, somewhat confused. Is that meant as an offer for him to feed? His brain is working too sluggishly to think about it, and the hunger inside him is burning, so he stops thinking altogether. He catches Obi-Wan's hand, tugging him closer into his arms, pressing his face to Obi-Wan's neck. Obi-Wan yelps and Anakin would have laughed if he had the presence of mind to – his amusement flares into the Force, anyway.

Anakin hovers just a moment longer, clinging to him, before he gives into the pull and bites down. His grip around Obi-Wan's waist tightens a little, and the rest of the world melts away.
