Ryan went towards the elevator when he sees his sister coming out of the elevator and Derek inside the elevator with a smile, "I'm taking the stairs," He stated turning around when Meredith watched as her brother walk in the opposite direction, "I'm stuck in the pit protecting smackheads and gangbangers from my idiot interns, and you're getting McDreamied in the elevator," Cristina stated to her best friend when meeting up with Meredith.
"Really smackheads and gangbangers at Seattle Grace?"
Cristina looked at her best friend, "My point is, I hate interns," she admitted as Meredith looked at her person, "Ryan and Lexie aren't that bad, are they?"
Cristina made a shocked face, "Oh, are we not hating Lexie anymore?" She questioned as Meredith gave her a look, "Oh, no. We still hate the idea of her. We just realise we don't have a reason to hate the actual person." Meredith stated to her person, "And Ryan still isn't talking to me,"
"They're interns." Cristina commented about her person's siblings, "I think you may be the new Nazi." Meredith told her best friend, "Damn right."
Meredith then looked to her interns, "I don't see any charts." Ryan came past his sister who tried talking to him, "Ryan, you can't keep ignoring me!" She said after her brother who did in fact ignore her as he made his way towards his half sister.
"Ryan, have you seen Dr Yang?" Lexie questioned Ryan who shook his head as he was finally in his blue scrubs and white coat, "No, I haven't. Why?" He questioned to which Lexie replied with, "She told us to meet her, and she's not here. I don't wanna give her a reason to hate me."
"Three! Four!" Dr Cristina Yang came through the double doors, "Incoming! Let's move!" The doctors went into a trauma room, "He got hit during a scrimmage."
"You the coach?" Ryan questioned the man who was in the same room as the football player, "He's my dad," the boy replied, "And coach," the dad added.
Ryan got a flashback of his mother, where he stood at the bottom of his childhood home with his football gear in his duffel bag, "Ryan, you can't choose both! You need to make a decision! It's either Football or Med school! You can't have both!" Ellis Grey said down to her eighteen year old teenager.
The Grey male looked at the football player, "He was charging the receiver after the kickoff. He had his head down, couldn't see the other guy coming." The dad explained to Dr Shepherd who nods his head, "I had my head down because the guy blocking me was holding it down." The boy stated, "You've could gotten past that guy!"
Ryan then looked to the man when seeing his son getting stressed, "I need you to leave the room." He requested the football coach and the boy's dad, "Okay," Dr Shepherd nods his head to Ryan about the dad leaving the room, "Let's cut him out of his equipment,"
