The four residents and Ryan all were in Izzie's hospital room as they tried the food Izzie had out in front of them, "Chicken!" Alex said where George nods his head, "It's good chicken."
"Yeah, it's chicken." Meredith, Ryan and Cristina all said at the same time about the taste of the chicken, "I know it's chicken. I want to know what it tastes like—"
Her boyfriend interrupted her by saying, "It tastes like chicken." Alex Karev expressed as Ryan held in his laughter at Izzie's facial expression, "I'm having surgery today."
"Maybe." Miranda Bailey said, "If the nets have shrunk." The third year resident said, "I am maybe having surgery today and as such I cannot taste the chicken for myself." Ryan put his hands in his white coat, "So I really need you guys to tell me what it tastes like. I need to narrow down this dinner so I can announce it on Meredith and Derek's wedding website."
"What? There's a website?" Ryan turned to his sister after he asked the question, chuckling at her expression, "So, can you please be a little more articulate than just chicken?"
"Yay!" Izzie said when Derek came out in the suit Izzie had laid out for him, Ryan turning to face his best friend who had finally made up with Mark, as the three best friends watched the game at Meredith and Ryan's childhood home.
Miranda smiled, "Very dapper, Dr Shepherd." The resident confirmed.
Ryan looked away from his best friend at the clothing choice, "You're serious about this? It's not some cruel joke?" Izzie snapped a picture of the neurosurgeon, "And you look fantastic." And when no-one agreed with her, she then asked, "He looks fantastic, right?"
"Wow." "Yeah."
The three residents walked out of the room with Ryan grabbing another chicken stick before smirking at his friend and walking out of her hospital room munching on the chicken on a stick.

Thatcher Grey sat across from Richard Webber in the chief's office, "Fresh from rehab?" Thatcher nods his head as he let out a sigh, "I could tell you some good meetings in the area." Richard suggested, "Thanks, they gave me a whole list."
"That's one more thing we have in common." Thatcher joked to Richard who chuckled awkwardly, "Have you talked to Meredith or even Ryan? To Lexie?" Richard questioned the Grey's siblings father.
Thatcher opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out, as he shook his head sighing, where Richard leaned back into his office chair.

Ryan furrowed his eyebrows when he looked at his pager from where he was jotting down what Mark and Callie was telling him, "The chief is paging me. I need to—" He stopped what he was doing, "I'll uh—I'll be back," He claimed walking out of the trauma room.
